I've heard good things about this place. If I had a daughter I would take her here.

First to the parent who said tuition is $315 for a 45 min class. That is completely false. Tuition is very reasonable, and prices are listed online at expressionsteamx.com. Expressions School of Dance is such a wonderful environment. My daughter has danced there for 5 years. She started at age 3, and her teachers have all had such a huge impact in her life. They care about each individual student and do an excellent job of molding their teaching approach accordingly. They are so professional and make each experience so enjoyable. We would go nowhere else.

Expressions School of Dance is an awesome dance studio to attend. We came from another state where is cost a lot more for your money. They have excellent teachers that know how to teach all types of dance. If you have been out side to go to other recitals be lucky that you only had to pay $12.00 per ticket. You do get what you pay for and even more. Highly recommend this studio for any age. Great enviornment too.

My daughters have been attending Expressions for a total of 4 years. They are a class act! Wonderful environment for learning. The teachers are very patient and extremely knowledgeable. The school is very upfront about all costs. When You sign up they go over all of it. The costumes are great and always go along with the theme of the recital. Plus they are age and dance style appropriate. Although you do pay for tickets for the Recital ( not rehearsal ), the shows are wonderful. If tickets were free the price per class would be much higher like other reputable dance studios in the area. My daughters and I love the school and hope to dance there for years to come!

My daughter has been attending Expressions every week for 7 months. She enjoys the class and has learned a lot, but I feel the $315 tuition was a bit steep for 45 minutes a week. We also signed up knowing we would eventually have to pay a $65 costume fee, which I was reluctant about, but agreed to. Come to find out, that $65 got us a Hanes tank top, a Hanes t-shirt and dance shorts (price gouging for proffit??). I was less then thrilled to see other dance outfits that actually looked like I would have expected a dance costume to look like; frilly, cute, and girly. I'm sorry, but a t-shirt is not a costume! Oh, and you have to purhcase new shoes that they can only wear in the studio, they cannot be worn outside. And if you don't purchase the correct color of shoes that they can wear with their costume, you will have to purchase another pair to wear for the program. That's not the end of it, you also end up buying pictures which range from $20-$30 for 6-7 pictures. And to top it all off, they CHARGE you to watch the recital, Yep! $12 a ticket just to see what your child has learned in the class you already paid for! When I approached an employee about the ticket price, her response was, "well, if you don't want to pay to watch it, you can be a stage mom and watch from behind the stage." WHAT!? Are you kidding me? Yes, I want to watch the program that I spent hundreds of dollars on from behing the curtain! Seriously!? So don't even bother wasting your time or money on this place, they are a rip off!

Everyweek my daughter gets excited about going to dance class. She practices anywhere and everywhere and is always talking about her dance instructor. My daughter loves this place. All the teachers are certified in one way or another. The kids are advanced according to how skilled they are not just by age. They have a wide variety of classes to offer at very reasonable prices. ( not much more than the community centers) Marty the owner ever sponsored my daughter in her upcoming pageant. If you want your kids to dance this is a great place to start them.

PROS: variety - certified - sponsors - my daughter loves them
CONS:
