I can't remember when I first discovered Crickets, but once I did, I never stopped going. When friends come into town, we always walk through downtown CDA and go into Crickets to have a lunch and a drink and then continue on our catching up. Crickets has the BEST fries I have ever tasted...and I have tasted a lot of fries in my time. Their prices on drinks aren't too bad either. If you come down on a holiday, or football night you can play along with the interactive games with the other fans. Although they are a little slow when they get backed up, they have comfortable seats and friendly attractive servers, what more can you want?

My son and his girlfriend and I were visiting Idaho, he was coaching at a camp there. One of the camp coaches informed us a family steakhouse to go eat at. I'm not big on steak, but my son loves steak. We got there it had that dark pub feel to it, greeted by the hostess we were promptly seated, for being so busy. We looked over the menu, I ordered the fish and chips, my son also went for the fish and chips and his girlfriend order the clam chowder bread bowl. As we were waitng for our meal, they deliver a french bread basket and 3 rounds of water. I was completely overwhelm by the french bread, absolutely the best I ever tasted. The meal was average but the french bread, the best. We spent about 35 dollwr between the three of us. Which is average for me.
