Warhawk Air Museum is located just off I-84 in Nampa, Idaho. The museum is full of pictures and facts on some amazing air crafts. It is right beside the Nampa Airport, where if you want you can charter out a flight. I took my husband for his first plane right here for his 30th birthday, the pilot was awesome, even letting my husband take over the controls for a minute or two. We got to see the whole surrounding area, took pictures and it was VERY cheap.

This place is so cool to visit. It is amazing being to close to aircraft that has defended our country and some have even gone on to star in Hollywood movies. Most notably the movie Pearl Harbor. It is a fun experience for young and old alike and I recommend it to anyone who has never been.

Message from Warhawk Air Museum

The Warhawk Air Museum was brought to life in 1989 by our co-founders John and Sue Paul as a place to preserve military aviation history. The museum has since become an educational destination for over 5,000 school-age children and 25,000 visitors each year.

In the ensuing 24 years, the museum has grown immensely. What started as a tribute to WWI/WWII veterans has expanded to include veterans’ history from the Iraq War, Persian Gulf War, Vietnam War, Korean War and Cold War.

Throughout the museum, donations from community members are also on display to educate future generations about national and local history. Families of local veterans and the veterans themselves have donated one-of-a-kind collections of uniforms, photos, medals, gear and written narratives describing battle experiences.
