Formerly known as world gym, Peak Fitness is a great gym with a close knit group of trainers and management. I go there 4 times a week, and usually I'm in and out, but they go out of their way to say hello, or to ask if there is anything new going on. The trainers are great, You get a train with one of the trainers, and Nate (trainer) showed me some techniques that were killer, and was knowledgeable and gave me some great custom tailored information, that didn't sound cookie cutter or a fits all program. The afternoon can get quite crowded due to people getting off of work, and some days it looks like a high school comes on in, so the usually afternoon can get pretty tied up. The contest they have and the classes they have are great, friendly, and always give a newbie a try (I tried yoga). One Problem though is the TV size. Its OK if your in the middle but if you up front on some of the machines, you craning you head or in the back your straining to see. The place is getting a major renovation so its been great so far! Great place for you friendly neighborhood gym.Pros: Staff, members, Cons: Can get crowded at times. The TVs!!
