Not too great of a place. Pretty slow service, with servers who think they are better than you. Also, some of their food is luke-warm when it is served and when you tell the server about it, they do nothing. Avoid bittercreek and spend

Good food, good prices, lot of selections for beer and wine, you can't go wrong. The location is great and it's a lot of fun to sit on the patio in the summer, especially during the Farmer's Market!

Most places like this are just a little too raucous but Bittercreek, at least the time I was there, served up some great brew, good appetizers and a relaxing yet upbeat atmosphere. I don't get to Boise alot, but when I do...this is a must stop kind of place.

I like Bittercreek because it is a relaxed place where you can usually find a table pretty easily on the weekends. We were here last weekend and the waitress was very quick, polite and accurate. The food is great too. I only wish that they'd share their menu with Red Fether (with whom they share a kitchen) but I can understand why they don't. Regardless, it is a fine place to hang out.

PROS: drinks, service, atmosphere
CONS: prices are a little steep, but not real bad.

This is a favorite with the downtown, afterwork crowd. A great little pub/bar located off of 8th Street. It can be hard to snag a table but so worth the effort. The food is wonderful (the Huntsman burger is my favorite) and their drinks are delish (a nice long drink menu for those who like to try something new) made with fresh juices. That means the whiskey sour is SOUR!

They have a lovely eclectic menu. The vegetarian sandwich option is delicious and the brownie dessert... thing on the menu is DIVINE.
