If you don't mind the long drive to Nampa, then go here. I went here with my wife and this place is pretty awesome. We had a couples plate and the food was absolutely delicious. For dessert we had chocolate fondu and later that night I got some action. Will definately go here again.

I love fondue but I love it even more when someone else makes it. The food choices are great. I love the atmosphere with the dim lighting. It is a great place for a date.

Mona Lisa is definately the best place for a great evening that will leave you totally stuffed and wondering how you got that way. You will pay for it dearly, but for once a year it's a great treat.

Unfortunately, the location on the second floor of the WAMU building no longer exists. It was terrible access, pouring the Mona Lisa sauce on the grill made the smoke alarms go off (that's a $500 fine) and two fondue restaurants in Boise just blocks apart was one too many.

Nevertheless, you can visit the original Mona Lisa in Nampa in a much cooler atmosphere (the old Nampa blacksmithery). Great live music on Fridays, sign your bottle of wine and if it's a special occasion you can leave a message in the bottle to reread on a future visit.

The Mona Lisa is a supurb fondue restaurant with incredible atmosphere and even better food. Our dinner was amazing, our dessert was divine, our waiter was attentive and our experience was worth every penny. Go on a night when you have plenty of time to devote because eating is truly an experience at the Mona Lisa. From appetizer to dinner to dessert everything we put in our mouths exceeded our expectations.

PROS: Exceptional food and great atmosphere
CONS: Quite expensive (though worth it for special occasions)

Mona Lisa Fondue restuarant is a great place to go on a date with your husband. Plan on spending a couple hours and dont eat lunch late that day. Its soft lighting, charming waiters and having fun with your food. Its sensuous and romantic to feed your mate and laugh as you do it. And the dessert course is sheer bliss. Macaroons, brownies, marshmellows, cherries and more all to dip and eat-oh, heavenly!
