.

My three year old son fell and broke his arm so needless to say we were in the market for a doctor and some plaster/fiberglass. Upon arriving at the ER the first stop was registration. The lady was nice and did not waste any time getting the paperwork done and geting a triage nurse to check him out. Triage brought us to a room and said the doctor would be in shortly. This is when I buckled down and got ready for the typical hour wait for the doctor. Much to my suprise, 4 minutes later he appeared. He did a little poking and prodding and diagnosed a buckel fracture. He stated that he wanted x-rays to make sure. Radiology appeared 3 minutes later and whisked us off for some pictures. Now I just knew we were going to wait an hour for them to develope. Nope. They developed them right there while I waited and he hand carried them while wheeling my son back to the ER. The doctor was waiting and had diagnosed the fracture correctly. The doctor wrapped a splint on his arm, wrote a prescription, and a referal to a bone doctor for a cast to be put on the next day. They were the most efficient and proffessional hospital I have ever seen. Time from check in to discharge: 35 minutes.
