HUGELY UN-satisfactory.

See... http://www.areyousavedyet.com/the-unpardonable-sin/once-saved-always-saved/matthew-7-21-23

I gave Coin Nuts over $5,000.00 when ordering Silver Coins. I was then told my order would take four to six weeks to fill. I went back 12 weeks later and was told it had not yet been filled. I went back about 4 weeks later & was again told the same thing.

When I did not receive their promised phone call later that last day... advising me what the problem was I went back in a few days later with a 'Demand' Letter which I presented. Inasmuch as I'd learned throughout my ordeal that Legal Judgments quite literally meant nothing to the Principles of Coin Nuts, i.e. they already had a long standing drawer full of them, I tried a different approach to prompt them toward paying me what they owed me... toward 'simply doing the right thing'.

At this point I'll write herein ONLY the 'SECONDARY PROMPT' of my 'Demand' Letter, the whole of which, in my mind, that caused them to finally take the appropriate steps to pay me what they owed me. Given their history of ONLY OCCASIONALLY 'doing the right thing' by people, I suspect they will continue their standard of EXTREMELY POOR business ethics (that some might identify as lying and attempting to steal). When I discover such is a continued standard, I will then become prompted to include herein a second Review. It will focus upon what I believe the 'PRIMARY PROMPT' noted within my 'Demand' Letter was.

For now though, anyone owed anything from Coin Nuts might consider employing the use of my 'SECONDARY PROMPT'. That is, NOT ONLY advising them you will Picket their business, but ACTUALLY step forth and meet that promise if they do not pay you what is due by such and such a date. Note that I said, 'promise', not 'threat'.

Along with the Promise of picketing is the promise to advise all types of Media that you ARE INDEED picketing and will regularly or intermittently continue to picket until Coin Nuts 'does the right thing' by repaying what is owed... along with additional expenses as noted below.

Included within your advisory to Coin Nuts should be an understanding that the expense of developing the LARGE picket signs (4ft x 6ft) and the time involved in acquiring them, you will add that amount to that which they currently owe you. Note also, that you will NOT stop picketing until they not only pay you what is currently due, but also reimburse you for the cost of the signs as just explained as well as the hourly expense that YOU decide to charge during the time you are actually picketing. That way, in the event they eventually elect to pay you what is now due, you will have already given them the advanced promise that if such already due is not made by the time you begin to have the signs made - they will provide the reimbursement... or you will continue picketing. So too, for the time you will have by then actually picketed.

IN SHORT...
1) Advise them that unless you are paid by such and such a date you will order signs to picket. And, from that day forth they will owe you what they currently owe, PLUS the cost of the signs and your labor to acquire them.
2) Advise them you will begin picketing on such and such a date.
3) Contact many Media and ACTUALLY DO begin to picket on that specified day. (Perhaps with Media spreading the news - others will join you picketing.)
4) Do not stop picketing until Coinuts pays what is currently due; also the sign costs & your hourly rate for what might turn out to be your EVER ESCALATING picket time. (Which will recurrently interest Media as well as identify others in your position... for the purpose of enhancing picket time as well as preparation for a Class Action Suit.)

TWO THINGS...

1) Within 45 minutes after my leaving my 'Demand' Letter of Promise at their business location, they telephoned me. NOT SO SURPRISINGLY, my coins 'had just arrived and I could come in and pick them up'.

2) The first of my promises, i.e. the 'PRIMARY PROMPT' was an even bigger prompt than was the promise to picket. (It was REALLY big - and like the picketing, absolutely legal.) Again... if time continues to prove that Coin Nuts REFUSES to operate what every honest, reasonable, thinking person can easily identify as an ethical business... (i.e., as some would say, no longer lying and attempting to steal) I will then PUBLICLY OFFER the "Primary Prompt' of which I now publicly deny access.

I hope this now helps you in your effort to gain what is legally due you. As you already doubtlessly know... normal legal channels simply do not work.

Should you attempt normal legal channels, I suggest you discover who each of you are and together... consider a 'Class Action Suit'. (Advertise for others who are in your same position vis-a-vis the picketing effort as well as Craigslist, ebay, Little Nickel, etc.)

Good luck.

Gosh did I get ??stung?. It is amazing to me the authorities do not enforce Idaho??s Consumer Protection Act. I never believed that a business can get away with behaving like they do.

Prepaid for gold coins and 7-weeks later after going store and many phone calls they will not refund or delivery to me. Lots of real weird excuses given.

Sure wish I had read Insider Pages before dealing with them- (Kevin & Sarah Mitchell).

If you don??t believe me just look at the Kootenai County court records also call Coeur d'Alene Police Department, Sergeant Brandon McCormick- (208) 769-2291/ E-mail: bmccormick@cdaid.org.

Glad they are out of business caused by the July 2012, $400,000 Brandenfurg lawsuit CV12-4840

I swear, the positive reviews here must be the owners and/or employees of this company because the people in this town all seem to have similar negative stories. I myself have been trying to get my order filled for what's going on two months. I've seen the Kootenai Sheriff in doing a "til tap" on their business while asking how it hasn't been possible they could not fill my relatively small order. These people have the same reputation with whoever you speak to. Avoid this business.

Did not fulfill my backorders as promised, yet took my money. Will not respond to inquiries. My loss is their gain. They have a bogus "guarantee." Don't believe it.\r

When I sold some coins to Coinuts, as the man there was literally writing my check asked me to not cash it right away, which obviously made me suspicious. I immediately took it to my local bank to cash it and was told they would not cash checks from Coinuts because they had had problems with bad checks from them. I had to take it to the bank Coinuts uses in order to cash it and get my money. Not good! I will never give them my business in the future!

We have been waiting for months to get our order. They keep claiming that the order isn't in yet, but after all this time there is NO WAY that can be true. We can't ask for our money back because precious metal prices have gone up so much, we will lose a LOT. I am REALLY let down with this business and can't believe they have not gotten in trouble yet. I will NEVER again give them my business and I have sent my friends elsewhere. I only hope to some day see what I purchased. Save yourself some money - DON'T BELIEVE THEIR LIES!!!

Good experience, they helped me finish my Buffalo collection with a tough to find 1913 type 2 s coin. Told the fellows (and gals) at the coin club... they were already customers. Nice place, Nice folks. Glad to have a real coinshop so close to home. I don't like the online coins, you can't
'get them in your hands"
Enjoy the hobby, I have for over 45 years.

I have bought gold and silver at CoiNuts for the last 5 years. Always great help, and they treat me like part of the family. My husband has been gone for 4 years now, and I'm glad he found CoiNuts. It's been a great and safe place to shop.

I live in Spokane and have bought & sold coins & precious metals for years and have had a great & loyal commitment to a Spokane dealer but through a series of events I went with a friend from the area to sell some coins & gold to Coinuts. We received a check. When we went to the bank it was written on, they said they could not cash it due to insufficient funds. We called Coinuts & he assured us it would clear. We went to our bank who notified us they would cash the check but would hold funds for 10 days as they have seen dozens of his checks bounce. Well, you got it. It bounced and the nightmare began. We have since met numerous people in CDA area with the same story. We had to call and go back countless times & finally ended up taking back some gold coins that were worth less than the check amount. We contacted the county prosecutors office who couldn't help us because it was a civil case BUT they were quite familiar with Coinuts reputation for bad checks and stated they would like to see them shut down. They were familiar with countless legal actions taken against them including handicapped people, doctors, elderly ladies, doctors and even attorneys who have had to go after them. THEY ALSO WARNED OF PEOPLE WHO AID FOR GOLD OR SILVER AND NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT!!! This is a seriously problem and the other criminal act is the CDA legal system for allowing this behavior to continue. The BBB has also heard numerous complaints. DO NOT TAKE A CHECK or BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT WALKING OUT OF THE STORE WITH IT IN YOUR HANDS FROM Coinuts. It's ironic they call themselves Coinuts. If anyone cares, I have worked with all of the dealers in Spokane and Coinsplus has always exceeded our and countless collectors & friends expectations.

Pros: Cant think of one

Cons: Bad Check Capital of America

.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT Patronize Coinuts. It is a scam outfit. (kicked off of ebay)

They will write you a rubber check, use your money and then finally give it back to you with an empty apology.

I found out too late that this has happened to MANY people. BEWARE!

There is a reason their web site is always ??Coming Soon.?

(I??m amazed the Coeur D??Alene prosecuting attorney hasn??t run them out of town)
