Beware of rotten meat with new expiration dates placed over the old. Beware of "In Store Special" signs, which translate to "almost molded". Beware of sale prices that may ring up two or three times higher that what was advertised and, when any of these issues are brought to the attention of the management, you are treated as if it is some how YOUR fault. Most Items are VERY OVERPRICED. Save yourself some headache and a possible food poisioning episode. Go to Winco in Idaho Falls or Smith's in Jackson.

We shopped at Broulim's for over two years when we lived in Idaho. Given they were really the only game in town, prices were outrageous, but undoubtedly management knew shoppers really didn't have a choice. They did offer some wonder homemade breads, but sales were sparse and it was just too expensive. The cashiers and bakery workers were exceptionally friendly, and since they didn't get discounts, it was nice to know we were all in it together. I wish the Broulim family showed more appreciation for its customers however.
