You will notice that all of the good reviews are from 06 or earlier. I pulled my children out of this center today, after two days. It is in disrepair, with few toys or books that are even in usable condition. The director was gone this week, and that likely accounts for the total disorganization, but nearly every member of the staff has been rude, not just to me, but the children. My daughter is almost two and was very upset about being left. No one helped her through this transition, by offering to hold her when I dropped her off or giving her any sort of attention at all. I was forced to spend twenty minutes attempting to calm her myself, finally calling my four year old son in to sit with her just so I could make it to work. At one point, I was left alone in the room with four other young children while the teachers talked to each other. (Not to me, of course, since they had no social skills and did not speak to the parents or put forth any effort to make new children feel welcome.) The final straw came when I overheard the teachers discussing a parent who had called to complain about her child coming home with bruises on more than one occasion. Rather than seeming sympathetic or worried by this, the teacher was irritated and expressed her lack of caring by explaining that she couldn't watch them every second and it is not her fault if there is no one here in the classroom with them. I was overwhelmed by a strong sense of neglect, total lack of responsibility on the part of the so-called caregivers, and the stained and broken-down condition of all of the furnishings as well as the obvious ignorance and depressed mentality of most of the teachers. One of the teachers was consistently laying down with one of the kids (refusing to greet me or even respond when I spoke to her) on each of the three days I had contact with these people. I cannot explain the horror I felt at leaving my children there on this last morning and the conviction that they were being mistreated which prompted me to return immediately to take them away for good. I will demand my money back, of course, but even if I was not to get a refund, I would be happy with my decision to leave that place far behind us. Children are too important to risk their safety and mental well-being.

Ratings_icons Had to pull out my child after 4 weeks...

Anonymous

My baby came home with the flu, a cold, another child's clothes and another childs binky during the 4 weeks he attended. The director was very nice and one of the teachers was great but there was a lack of communication between the director and her staff. The facility was dirty and what was said during our initial meeting wasn't what I experienced starting day 1.

Ratings_icons FINALLY CHILD CARE THAT LIVES UP THEIR NAME!

Sam J.

The Ratios per child are met & my children receive the care they deserve. Armed with a security system, lovingly kind teachers, healthy food program & an advanturously explorative pre-k program as well! (Pssssst...they have treehouses inside each classroom.) Way cool. I am very confident that my children are safe and loved.

PROS: Impressive from the very start.

I recommend this learning center if you want your child to come home happy and educated. I think the loving Care staff cares about the kids and parents which is wonderful I have heard people say that some of the staff is rude, I don't think so at all they are very down to earth and they tell the parents what they need to know and don't sugar coat anything I love that!!!

PROS: teachers are understanding and caring

Ratings_icons Safe and professional daycare for you children!!!!!!!!!!

Amandah S. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,282

This place has it all and is so perfect for my family and I. We all worry when choosing a daycare for our children because i we want it to be a good safe and professional place for them. It has lots of room for the kids to play and it's not to crowded because of too many kids which happens alot at other places. It's very spick and span and there's lots to do for the children. My oldest was more prepared for grade school since going here if you ask me.

PROS: safe - professional - perfect - not crowded

Ratings_icons child care

I know that they have some of the best credentials through the city. The building is large and has three seperate age groups and seperate rooms for each. Plus a small lobby and kitchen.
Some of the staff are very nice other are very rude.
