For the most part, I love roaring springs water park. It really is fun for everyone. For the past few years I have bought season passes for myself and my daughter and my parents also have passes too - it really is great for all age groups. I have been to many water parks while traveling and one thing I wish roaring springs had was some small adult-only area. Other water parks have had small pools with in-water benches where parents could sit in the water while enjoying a book. I wish roaring springs had that and wifi. If they had wifi internet, I could get some work done while the kids enjoy the park. Overall though, great place to get out of the heat.

Our family has purchased Roaring Springs season passes for the last 3 years. It is not a very large park, however, it has plenty of things to keep kids of all ages busy (and adults too for that matter). They have a great kiddie area with smaller water slides, water squirters, play equiptment, etc. The Lazy River can be a nice place to sit in an intertube and enjoy a float around the park. The teenagers sometimes get a little rowdy in the Lazy River and the lifeguards don't seem to control them as much as they should, but it's never been to much of a problem. You can't bring in any of your own food and eating in the park can be expensive. If you live close by and plan on going often, the season passes are a good deal. Get there early in the day as there never seem to be available lounge chairs during peak times.

PROS: Something for everyone
CONS: Crowds and little seating options.

Roaring Springs water park has fun for everyone. They have large slides for the more adventurous as well as a kiddie pool area for the smaller kids. It can get crowded but the lines still move fast. This is a great spot to spend a day with the family.

While I find this water park to be over priced, crowded and could use more slides, my children love coming here. I would recommend trying to come on a week day to try to beat some of the crowds. And pack a lunch, they can get real pricey. I have always found the employees to be very nice.

while it is a nice water park, the prices are high and not very affordable for the average jo.
the lines are huge and it can take a while to actually be able to get in the water and cool off.
they do offer a discount after a certain time of the day-but it is swamped.
make sure you have a big wad of cash and lots of sunscreen to go.

Once again an attraction in the Boise area is overpriced in comparison to other states and their attractions that I have been to. Course Roaring Springs if fun...lots of water, sun and rides but the price is way up there for Southern California, not Boise, Idaho! A few of the rides I have seen more than a fair share of injuries on that could have been prevented by the employees. If you don't purchase family passes for R.S. you might as well not go. You can pack lunch for here, don't know why the other person said you cannot even bring in water.

This is a great place to go when you can't stand the heat for one more second. They have a great area for the kids to play in. It is fun for the adults also. The slides are fun but I think it is a little overpriced. You can't even bring your own water in, they gouge you wherever they can.

If you are looking for a place that is fun for the whole family this is it. The water slides are incredible and will bring back the kid in anyone. The prices are a little steep if you don't purchase the season pass however it is a blast and well worth the money.

We finally visited Roaring Springs this past summer and had an awesome time. We were lucky enough to get some discounted tickets and that made it more affordable for us. It was very relaxing and fun for all of us. Next time I will put on more sunscreen though, the sun is very hot and there is very little shade. I would recommend wearing water shoes though as the ground is very hot when you are walking from one attraction to another.

PROS: Amazing fun for everyone!
CONS: Not a lot of shade.

We have had season passes to Roaring Springs for the past 3 years and felt that it is so worth it. I love the kiddie area, it's perfect for toddlers and babies since the water is only about a foot deep. The only thing bad is it's in a windy spot next to the freeway so you have to go on a really hot day to not get cold.

We visited Roaring Spring Water Park last summer and were not impressed with it. Compared to other parks we have been to, this pales in comparison.

It is super crowded and doesn't have that much variety of slides. There are some and they are definitely fun, but the crowded feeling along with the outrageous price to get in makes this an unattractive place to be, in my opinion. We haven't been back and don't plan on it. We'll stick to the community pool, or go water park-ing when we are on vacation.

PROS: Fun slides!
CONS: No variety, crowded, very overpriced!

When guests come to visit us during the summer months, they always want to visit Roaring Springs. It's a nice place for the family to congregate for a picnic, and there is something to satisfy every swimming level and ability. The lazy river is a relaxing way to enjoy the water, yet, there are others that prefer a wilder ride, so choose a more exciting ride instead. Summer passes are offered, and if your family is going to visit more than a few times during the summer, it's well worth the cost. Enjoy!

PROS: Clean Family Fun

Roaring Springs is a wonderful place for us to take our kids and enjoy a hot summer day. They have several different slides, squirters and a lazy river. You can get a general admission or season pass. Great fun!

This is a GREAT place to go to cool off in the summer! They have so many different water activities that everyone will be happy. They have a lazy river you can float down, a few water slides as well as an awesome children's area. They also have food & drinks to purchase. They run specials for season passes which are well worth the price since a day pass is around $20. Might as well pay for a season pass if you're going to go a lot.
