The salad was a little "wilted," despite the trendy grilled effect. Yes, the chowder was indeed superb. My main course was above average. The service stunk. Great gal with a cheery personality, however she repeatedly forgot us. Too much multitasking, perhaps. We finally chased her down to get a bill. Food was good but the portions were average and the price is a bit stiff, however Sandpoint gouges during the summer to make up for lackluster winter traffic.

The food here is amazing! No first time visit is complete without trying the Spunky Crawfish Chowder. I've never had a disappointing meal, and have often enjoyed sitting at the bar that overlooks the kitchen -- always fun to watch the chefs at work.
