I worked w/ Linda Barder for our May '09 wedding and she was wonderful. She answered my questions/emails/calls quickly and was very attentive. Even if I emailed her a few times a day, I never felt like I was bothering her. She made me feel like a valued client which I appreciated since this is where you spend the bulk of your money. Of course they are not inexpensive by any stretch of the imagination, but I would recommend them in a heartbeat. The food was very good and the staff was on their game. Food wise, I was especially happy w/ the sushi station we had during cocktails and our dinner (beef and chicken over risotto). Our friends also loved the late night snacks (mini hot dogs and burgers over tater tots w/ mini milkshakes). FFT was also very accommodating during the week and day of. For example, we brought in our own champagne and they said just drop it off at our facility anytime the week of your wedding and well take care of the rest. The next time I saw our champagne, it was being served to me at the reception. So easy! Also, at the end of the night there was a ton of cake left over and the head server remembered my mom from the tasting (impressive) and wrapped it all up so we could have it at the brunch the next day. So thoughtful! You really cant go wrong with Food For Thought. Book them you wont be sorry!

I have found this caterer to be good at coming up with creative ideas and executing them in the kitchen. The food is always good, as is the service. They are a little pricier than some, but I guess you get what you pay for. I paid about $120 per person for a dinner that included cocktails and all rentals, but didn't include alcohol.

We used FFT for our wedding last winter. The food was amazing, the presentation so artistic, and they let us vary the menu a bit to be more interesting. The staff was wonderfully friendly, and our guests commented repeatedly on how much they enjoyed the mashed potatos served in martini glasses that you topped yourself and the strawberry milkshakes!
