We walked in and the hostess was smoking at a booth with a couple other people. The hostess sat us in smoking without asking our preference and it was at a table with a dirty ash tray. When we asked if we could sit in non-smoking, we were moved to a table that was sticky. During the meal, I noticed a dead bug on the windowsill. By the end of the meal was when I realized that none of the other people at the table ever got up to help. It seems that while the boss was away, she had her friends visit and create a haze in the smoking section. Food was OK, but I would not go back again because of the smell and filth.

PROS: Cool firehouse decor
CONS: filthy, smelly and not worth another trip there

I try and be considerate with restaurants, because I know its not an easy line of work, but this place is ridiculous. First walking in, you are greeted with the sight of the ENTIRE waitstaff sitting in a booth, chatting and eating. Everyone - not a single person on the restaurant floor. If youre lucky, within a few minutes someone will stand and direct you to a table still sticky with the remains of someone else's meal, and it will be ten or so minutes before they bother to come back for drink orders. On my first and last visit, I ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad and was horrified to find an unidentifiable insect still alive and wriggling - squirming in a tomato wedge in the salad. This was no visiting bug, either. By the condition of the tomato, I'd say he lived there. Utterly disgusted, my party and
I decided to leave but were still required to pay HALF the heck for what little we had eaten before the little insect had made his debut god only knows what else was there, that we missed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

PROS: Cute firehouse decor.
CONS: Bugs and bad service.
