I bought all of my kitchen appliances and thought I had gotten a good deal. I was going to buy from Gulgren but they were $400.00 more than Grand. Well, after the horrible experience with Grand and A FamilyAppliance Delivery, that $400.00 would have been well worth it. They installed both my microwave and dishwasher incorrectly! It took 6 months to get a partial refund! I will never recommend this company, and go out of my way to let others know of my horrible experience. They do not stand behind their merchandise or installation.

I would never shop at Grand Appliance again. I bought several items there including a stovetop, garbage disposal, washing machine and dryer. I thought I was getting a good deal and felt really good about using a local Chicago business. Unfortunately my washing machine arrived broken from Grand Appliance and stopped working several weeks later. I reached out to Grand Appliance hoping they would help expedite the process of getting my broken, brand new washing machine either fixed or replaced. They did nothing. They were the opposite of helpful. They didn't even have the decency to take responsibility for delivering a broken machine. When I called Grand Appliance Customer Service in Zion, the manager all but hung up on me and said "I have nothing to discuss with you. It's not our problem. We're done!" You will get better customer service from Best Buy, SEARS, and/or Menards. Don't waste your time and money on Grand Appliance. They want your money and nothing else.

We have bought from Grand several times in the past, but our last huge purchase in 2005 was extremely disheartening. Not only were there appliances delivered damaged, but now 2 years later, We have had ALL of them repaired and re-repaired time and again. To the point where their service and customer service have been extremely disrespectful to both myself and my warranty company (which I purchased through Grand Appliance). I was told originally by our Salesman that Grand Appliance was in charge of my warranty. However, when we started having problems, less than 1 month into our owning our appliances, Grand referred us out and told us they had nothing to do with it. I NEVER received any info regarding any warranty from anyone anywhere until a couple weeks ago, when I demanded it from Grand. We purchased this "warranty" through GRAND not any other company. Thankfully, we had it. However, their service representatives are BEYOND disrespectful. They have been short, they cut off, they hang up and schedule incompetent people who do not back their work to come out an d do repairs. WE have experienced this first hand well beyond a dozen times. I "though" we were purchasing from a family owned company who backed their product. I was reinforced this during our purchase and shopping. However, the second the items were removed from the truck damaged. They have not backed ANYTHING. I have had to go through our manufacturer or the warranty company. Even though things like, dents, chips, cracks are completely their delivery companies fault. These are just a small handful of the issues we had.

What!!!! I thought I was supposed to get this great local support if something went wrong!! Days went by and they couldn't even find my order and I talked to the customer service manager. It was obvious from her tone of voice that she also didn't care and said they just couldn't find my invoice. So now I'm sitting on hold with Bosch myself. I could have done this paying less with an internet purchase - they will never see another penny of my money!!

I have bought a couple appliances here and they have treated me great every time. The prices are very good. Theyalways have specials going on. They have a great selection. Ilike the knowlegable service. If you want to go somewhere to buy appliances wher e they listen to you and they now waht they are talking baout then this is the place to go!
