If you live in Champaign or are visiting, you have got to try Lone Star!! Unlike many steakhouses, that offer dry, tough meats with chewy fat, Lone Star is the real deal. It's a fun place with cactuses, indoor lights, TV's, and a bar. The service was nice, I felt like they made sure I was happy. Prices were very fair too.
Their beef medallions with rice blew me away, as well as their beef stew--try it! Great food and lots of it too. The meat was incredibly juicy, flavorful, cooked just right, and void of any fat strings--it was heavenly.
