Best price for sushi in the city.
Tastes wonderful, always fresh. I eat a lot of sushi
when I eat sushi and what I can eat for $20 here
I have had to pay close to $100 in all other places
around town.

Food is good, service is average, management... very disappointing. I was a fairly regular customer because the service is not bad and me and my wife like the food, until today. Its supposed to be a family friendly place but its not, my 8 month old started crying because he got hungry, my wife was preparing the formula and one lady showed up at the table telling me that I had to control my kid, or in other words shut him up, because they had more customers... unbelievable. Asked for my check, put my card in the check presenter and when she came back with it, instead of saying thanks, she told me in a very rude tone: "Here". I won't be coming back at all, and I would encourage not going to this place, its a shame that a good place like this gets shadowed for that kind of rudeness.

Ive heard people say they are big fans of Shiroi Hana, but I cant say that I am myself. The decor is less than stellar and their rolls always seem to be too warm and basic. With better, cheaper options in the area, I dont think I'll be giving them a 4th chance to impress me

Pros: Location, Variety

Cons: Sushi is average at best, price a little higher than comparable competition

The quality of the food here is great and I went there twice. I was seated promptly, the server was this very over energetic Japanese man who always was smiling and friendly. Great guy. But the food was served sort of fast. I mean that the my group did not have enough time to finish the edamame and soups before the entree was served. Still, great food quality.

After 5 years of happy dining at Shiroi Hana, I was very disappointed in my experience since the prices increased and menus changed. Usually, I get the sushi for two and sashimi appetizer or the sushi/sashimi combination. Today, when treating a friend to dinner, we tried some different things. The prices were higher and the portions were much smaller than pictured in the menu. The Kani Su appetizer came and there was ONE shelled leg's worth of crab meat, not the 8 pictured for $7.50. It was embarrassing. We were going to share, but there just was not enough. The Salmon-Don came and it was long, skinny strips of salmon enough to make about 6 pieces of sushi, not the 8 large, thick slices I used to get (like in the photo) for $16.00! "Hey Sushi" made a more plentiful entree- and they skimp!! Shiroi Hana should be ashamed of treating customers as if they are blind or stupid.

I felt taken advantage of and I was not about to make a complaint in front of my guest; I SHOULD NOT *HAVE* TO! I will say that today was the last time I intend to go to Shiroi Hana. There are many other options for sushi & sashimi in this city; Shiroi Hana was the most reasonable. I'm sorry to see that has changed.

Pros: Used to be the value, now it's getting your water/tea filled.

Cons: Total rip off from what I came to expect from this restaurant.

I lived in a Japan so I'm pretty picky about Japanese food. I really enjoyed this place and it's very reasonably priced!

After several tries to get my husband to try a different sushi restaurant, we finally went to Shiro Hana and he loved it! We used to go to the same sushi restaurant, but their slow service and small space made us go somewhere else. I have been to shiro hana before but my husband have not, and he loved it!! Fast service, big portions of their sashimi and great sushi! I highly recommend this restaurant.

It's the not the best, but the sushi is pretty good. The party trays and specials are great deals. I agree, the non-sushi dishes aren't very good.

This used to be my standard sushi place. Ownership changed and with it, the prices as well as the quality. Used to be the best deal around, with good quality. Prices for their Hana Set specials and their Party Trays have gone up about 30% in the last 6 months, and the quality has decreased. It's now not any cheaper than other sushi places, and lower quality.

I love this cozy sushi restaurant. I was first introduced to this place by my mother, and found myself making after work trips to carryout a lot of sushi. I would recommend this spot to newcomers and sushi pros alike, you won't be dissappointed.

Since only the worst place in the world deserves a 1, I gave ShiroHana a 2. On the positive side, ShiroHana is very inexpensive for a sushi restaurant. If you are an inexperienced sushi diner, by all means, go to ShiroHana. However, this restaurant doesn't have very fresh fish. The mackrel was less than desirable on my first visit; and, I actually had a stomachache after my second visit. I guess that I should had known when I didn't see any Japanese making the sushi.
