Bamee Noodle Shop

This is a really casual thai restaurant. As far as the restaurant goes, there are many nicer, cleaner restaurants in the area. But what makes this place worth going to is the outdoor terrace in the warmer weather. They have great lunch specials; you can pick from a variety of meals for only about 5.99 each. The food is pretty good too!

Very casual restaurant with outdoor seating in warm weather. Menu is standard Thai and very reasonably priced. A great neighborhood, people-watching restaurant.

PROS: Inexpensive, great people-watching if you sit near the windows
CONS: Sort of old and messy looking inside

It's an average noodle place. There's the ususal outdoor seating if you like dust in your food. There are two good points. The food is done very quickly and there's a dedicated waiting area for take-out orders. Usually when you get takeout you end up sitting at one of their tables or standing around but they do have nice benches when you can wait. It's an okay place.
