Don't recommend Dr. Haire at ALL!!! This vet came highly recommended & I was pleased at 1st w/his staff & his service. R. I had a terrible experience w/my yorkie pup after getting her spray in Haire Clinic where I had been going for years & had been very satisfied w/the service & PRICE!!! Until after my Bella Rose had her surgery in Jan. 2013, she developed many swollen places on the incision after the office help, Nicki removed the stitches. Bottom line was Dr. Haire botched the surgery, Bella's WBC count was 140,000 which was outrageous when it should be 7 to 8 thousand. He neglected caring for Bella. Said she had cancer, got something from the dirt, grass, made all kinds of excuses. He was busy to go on a convention......had Bella there on Valentine's day said she was BETTER!!! Kept Telling him she wasn't. on the 15th of Feb. she took a drastic turn for the worst.I live in Marion about 35 mins.away. By Sat. she was throwing up, her temperature was worst so weak I called Dr. Woodcock, who had been my vet for years prior to changing to Haire Clinic because of cost. Dr. Woodcock said to bring her up.....threw all the meds away...she had pnemonia, the meds were not helping at ALL!! Had to put her on oxygen, called me late on Sat. nite and said in a very caring UP FRONT way, that he couldn't guarantee anything, just pray! Bottom line, Bella Rose died, broke my heart, please be careful folks I really thought he was a great Vet too. Bella died of a simple procedure gone bad she was fine prior to surgery.

I loved the vet. He was helpful and got my dog on the right medication for seizures. When I left the office he told me I could stop by anytime for refills. When it came time to get a refill I could not get over there because I live about 35-40 minutes away. I realized I really should have asked for a script at the time. Big mistake on my part. I called and asked to have it called into to the pharmacy near my house. The extremely unhelpful receptionist said she would not be able to call it in unless I provided her the phone number because she could not look it up and was quite offended that I would even ask such a thing even though it is common practice to just give the name of the pharmacy at every vet I've been to (we've moved). I called back with the phone number of the pharmacy and asked if she could please also ask the vet to include refills since it is obviously not convenient for me to come down. She flat out said she would not ask. I asked if she could get it called in quickly since I hadn't realized we were out because my husband had been giving the dog her meds and had not informed me of this. She said he will get to it when he can I will leave him a note. So yes I was a little frustrated at this point and it was probably showing in my tone. I called the pharmacy that night and nothing had been called in. I wonder if she even talked to the vet. I called back the next day to ask if it could be called in and find out if there was a problem. She said she left the note and he'd get to it when he gets to it. Now I'm wondering where she left the note. I told her my dog had no meds and now was having seizures because of this. She did not care and told me that was my fault for not calling in soon enough. I told her she could use a little work on Customer Service skills and she told me I was hateful. This has ruined a complete knowledgeable and good vet for me. I would not go to this vet if you think you may need to deal with the office staff for anything outside an appointment because she was terrible to work with and extremely rude.

Our no kill animal shelter Wright-Way Rescue has been using the services of Haire Veterinary Clinic for over 5 years. To say we are extremely satisfied with the quality of services would be an understatement. This clinic has seen over 1500 of our dogs and cats. They have assisted our shelter with everything from routine spay and neuter procedures to complicated orthopedic work. We have never once been dissapointed. The attention to detail and medical knowledge of the veterinarian have surpassed other experiences we have had by far. Our shelter facility would highly reccomend this veterinary facility to anyone who is looking for a professional and extremely experienced clinic to entrust their pets care to.

Haire Veterinary Clinic is a great place to take your pet for some care. The staff is young, friendly, and happy to help you and your pet. It seems like they actually care about your pet's well being. Along with providing great care they have very reasonable prices! This is my vet of choice in Southern Illinois and recommend it to others!
