Bacchanalia Restaurant

We ate at a small Italian restaurant in an old Italian neighborhood before going to a game at the United Center.
The place was cute and cozy. The service fantastic with Monica serving us. The food outstanding.
We had 2 appetizers - fried calamari(tender&crisp) & a jumbo stuffed arthichoke (nice).
We had two entrees chicken parmigian, and fresh whitefish with sides of pasta and spinach. Great food, great price,and great service. Will go there definitely again

I just eat there yesterday for the first time and I really enjoyed it.

The food was good and the price were good too. The local is nice too.

Italian food could not get better than this! The resteraunts in ittaly have nothing in this. But if you go then u have to try the traimasu! Total rating 5 out of 5!

"Bachs" by far is THE BEST Italian restaurant this side of Italy. I have been going there for years and have yet to EVER be served a bad meal. Your waitress is kind of like your mother also...if you don't eat it they want to know why not...if they see you enjoying it they will make a point to stop and tell you to .... eat...eat...it's good for you! Reservations are a must on the weekends and there is a bit of a wait almost any day for dinner but you'll be very entertained by the folks that are in the bar area if you do have a wait, within 2 minutes "your family" to everyone. (can you tell I like this place?) Any of the Vesuvio dishes are to die for along with the Capellini Marinara......I could go on and on but I think you get the picture.

PROS: Excellent quality, quantity, service and prices!!!
CONS: Not a one...ok...the parking is a little rough but that is about it!

Bacchanalia is located in a traditional South Side Italian neighborhood. You get large portions of pastas, meats and even desserts.The small restaurant offers specialties such as chicken Vesuvio, manicotti, pasta primavera and veal parmesan. Their specialty, Chicken Bacchanalia is out of this world. Excellent Italian food without the high prices .
