There is not enough equipment. The people are rude and stare at you the whole I work out. They said when it was going to be build there be new sansa, RQ ball courts, pools, and hot tubs. It has been three years and it has still no sansa, RQ ball courts, pools, and hot tubs Also there are no child programs that they promiss. Also they let to many people workout for free while I have to pay 30 a month. The people that work there are rude and know nothing about lifting weights.

This review will have to be on the NEW YMCA that recently opened in Granite City, as this location is now closed. The new YMCA is filled with the newest and best equipment, money can buy. The facility is open to the public, and has a variety of programs for young and old alike. The new building is being built in stages, and if it is this great now, I can't wait to see it done. My only complaint is they haven't got the heating/cooling system working just right. It's to hot in the winter, and not cool enough in the summer. I'm sure once that is straight, there won't be a thing in the world to complain about.
