I was in tears when he wanted more money(Bruno) I had a 95 year old father to move(on hospice) and all belongings. Had to be out of house. Had to pay more money then driver tells me how much it weighed and they bilked me out of $2000

The worst moving company, ever....DO NOT USE...Did not honor the original contract....Driver showed up with a clearly altered contract and basically held our belongs hostage till we payed him $1,000 more than originally agreed? Had the unpleasant oppportunity to talk with the OWNER he could not remember what the additional charges were for. Uses many company names, Matrix is one. BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE.

Company has changed its name to Matrix Moving Systems. Best friend used them to move from Chicago to Arizona. Promised 5-9 business day, and after two weeks the moving truck is still in Chicago. I believe Bruno is supposed to be the driver from them now. They are nice up front, but once they have your goods - they give excuses (blame it on the weather), and do not communicate. They have contacted the BBB on the poor service, and misrepresentation.

This is unfrondly irresponsible company. The person who came to do the estimate was very friendly. On the day of move actual owner came and he was very unfriendly person. Since I had to move on gthe same day i didn't had any other option than using them. Otherwise I would have send them back. It costed more than originally estimated and they even broken some of our furniture. The owner of the company who came to supervise the move didn't even wanted to see the damages. There is no way I will use this companny evere gain efeven if they promise to move free of charge.

Still have not received weight tickets been waiting since Sept 2010, I have reported them to BBB. I was charged 600.00 for moving charges because truck could not fit down road, was charged for distance from front door too truck which was in the limits of 75 feet from front door, and less than 30 from lakefront and less than 60 feet from garage, DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY THEIR WILL BE ALOT OF ADDED CHARGES WITH NO LIGIT RECEIPTS.

received a bill today for 17 months of unpaid storage dating back to 2009. too bad we haven't had anything in storage for 17 months there.

called to discuss the bill, tried to get a couple of words out and all they wanted was my credit card number to settle the bill. so I asked them to locate my property in the warehouse and call me back ready to text or email a picture of it. haven't heard back from them yet. what a group of dillholes.

i wish I could say the disgruntled people below we not telling the truth, but they most likely are. i just used them to store one piece of furniture. i cannot imagine the nightmare of a move with them.

steer clear of this pseudo-company.

Communication is absolutely terrible with this company. Firstly, they told us they'd be at out home for pickup between noon and 4:00pm; they showed up at 11:00am to find my family was out running last minute errands. When we arrived home they moved us swiftly, but the problems from then on were as follows: They told us they'd leave the same day as pickup, so in order to meet them down in Houston,Tx, we left the next day.(my wife and I a 14 month old baby, and 3 cats). When we arrived at our new home we called Peacock. They then told us that Bruno (owner and driver) wasn't leaving until the following Sunday. At this point my family and I with 3 cats had to get a hotel until Bruno showed up at our home on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I called Peacock and was greeted with rudeness and the news that Bruno had not even left yet and that he was at the DMV getting the truck's registration renewed. He evidently hadn't realized that it had expired. So now my family has to get another hotel for who knows how long. We've already spent $600 in hotels, and we're about to add on to that $ amount. All due to lack of communication on their part. In fact all the bad news that I had received were in part to ME calling them. They had told me that they just found out that Bruno hadn't left yet. So the internal communication seems as bad as the customer communication. Now I fear after reading these reviews that the wosrt part of this experience hasn't even happened yet. I am sure I'll be adding to my complaints if Bruno ever gets out of Chicago with all of our wordly possessions.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They lie about the delivery date and tell you they don't know how much extra boxes cost. Bruno, the owner, will talk up his company and in the end it is a big lie. They are already one day past the last day for delivery and they have yet to return a phone call. We used a broker, who got these people, and the broker is no better. This company should not be used by anyone and if they offer you a free move say no. I would rather pay more than use them. Don't be fooled and please I beg you, DO NOT use this company.

I used Peacock Relocation Systems based on a recommendation of a family member who used them several years ago. Things must have changed dramatically to say the least! They were terrible from beginning to end. The office staff is rude and tries to avoid you. They say that they will call you back to give you information regarding your move, but they never do! My things arrived so late that I had to buy new things because I didn't have my property as promised. They delivered my things over a month after they promised!!! They came up with one lame excuse after another as to why my things weren't delivered promptly and then tried to blame me for it. When my things were delivered, the driver showed up six hours later than he promised and unloaded the truck all night. I had to call into work the next morning because he was delivering my things until 8 in the morning. Obviously, this caused a complaint to my new landlord by my neighbors, but I didn't want him to stop delivering because I thought I may never see my things again. Also, my things were not set up and most of my furniture was broken. This is probably because they sent one elderly man to unload all of my stuff. My boyfriend had to help him, which wasn't even fair. Then the mover had the nerve to tell my boyfriend how to move the items and to help him. He complained of fatigue and hunger the entire time. Not to be a slave driver, but how is any of that my fault? This was the most unprofessional, ridiculous company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. They still haven't returned any calls regarding my complaints of damages to my items and missing items. You'd be better off moving yourself!!!

Peacock relocation is terrible. I am having a very negative experience with this company. They did not pick up on time, trying to charge me extra money, had an accident with my household goods on the truck. I still have not received my belongings that they have had in their possession for 38 days and counting. They keep giving me the run around, not returning phone calls and when I do speak with them I get a different answer depending on who I spoke with. Again, they are terrible, no customer service, they over charge, no on-time pickup or delivery. STAY AWAY!!!

Peacock was great on the interview and sales end ... they just could not deliver.
They did not follow industry, and there own, policy of inventory control on pick up or delivery I was told that would add to much time and cost more.
Each leg of my move I they used my stuff as ransom to get additional funds and like the other messages the reason changed depending on who I spoke with. I was told they new time based on number of boxs, and knew how man boxs a man could deliver in an hour. My crew was smaller then the quote and it took longer even though my box count was the same. Also they tried to hide damage, luckily an honest employee pulled me asside and let me know about the damage, even then they tried to deny the claim.
The office was rude and shows no customer support they have there idea and that is it. They do not listen just repeat there position.
I would not use again or recomend.

Our carpets, wood floor and railings were not protected properly. We had mud on the floor when the movers were done. Our furniture was not properly padded or protected. We had 13+ damaged items. $80.00 cash was stolen from my kitchen countertop, the driver was rude and scared all of us, the police were called twice, the truck was two days late arriving in our new location, our move out of our home should have taken 5 hours, but took 1.5 days, and much, much more!

The driver called the police on the movers. Three police arrived in my neighborhood (which rarely sees police) to settle the dispute. We had to wait 5 hours for new help to arrive. The driver did nothing during this time, except talk on his phone about how he hated his job and how the company is going out of business soon.

I called the police at 10:30 pm after the drived threatened to drive away with my personal belongings.

I called Peacock to report the problems and express our concerns. They offered no help or apology. They told me the driver was having a bad day and must be taking it out on us. When I told them about the missing cash, they scolded us for leaving it unattended. Funny response, since we were trusting these people with all of our personal belongings and to be alone in various rooms of our house.

The kicker: since our move, my debit card has been used 11 times in Chicago (we are not from there). I still have the card. Apparently the numbers were taken and were manually entered when used. The investigation is still pending.

I would not recommend them to anyone! The movers who helped them (from Allied) said they had never seen such poor work or customer service! They were yelled at by the Peacock mover for using too much tape!

I think the fact that the Better Business Bureau revoked their membership says a lot about the way they do business. They will not return calls or answer questions once they have your money. They were short drivers and made us wait 2 1/2 hrs for someone to drive their truck 5 miles to our new house, and then charged us for the wait. Boxes that were very clearly labeled as fragile were found in our basement with 3 other boxes sitting on top of them. Things labeled to go in one room were found in another. Our final bill was for over $1,000 more than the estimate for no reason, and their math was incorrect on the bill (in their favor, of course). I will never use them again.
