I just wanted to let someone know how great Brent Marburger made our car buying experience. He really went the extra mile in every area he could. We were making a trade from a sports car to a more family friendly vehicle, a 2004 Nissan

Sorry this is wordy, but I'm still a little steamed about my experience last night with this place. Not to knock anybody, but, being an ASE certified technician and having worked in some dealerships, I feel I have more knowledge about vehicles than the average car buyer. I have never bought nor traded in a vehicle I didn't thoroughly research. I have never been "sold" a vehicle; I know exactly what I want and I buy what I am looking for when the price is right. When my wife found a nice Quest minivan Autocenters Nissan had listed on the internet, I checked with my bank, Kelly Blue Book, and NADA on the trade in and suggested retail values of our Suburban to be traded. I knew I owed $5,000 less than retail and loan value, and also a little under trade in value. We had made sure prior to leaving the house that my self-employed wife was approved for financing. When we got there, it took about 2 or 3 minutes for my wife and I to give each other that look that says, "This guy (Larry, whom we had spoken with on the phone) seems like a real @ss in person." While hounding my wife for a down payment, the appraiser was checking out our loaded 2004 3/4 ton Suburban with 72,000 miles. I informed him that payoff was right around $13,000 and I needed that amount to do any deal. He told me if they gave me $13,000, they would need to get $14,000 out of it (like they only mark-up their vehicles $1,000!). He came back with an offer of $8,000! Keep in mind that we're looking to trade for a $22,000 minivan (which he said was $24,000 until I pointed out the price listed on their website) and dealers will manipulate #'s on paper according to the price of the vehicle you're trading for. Meaning, the pricier the vehicle, the more they will show for your trade. If we had been looking to down-grade to a $12,000 vehicle, that could have made our trade worth $100! My wife stood up and asked for her keys back so we could go. When he came back with the keys, I asked about the Yukon XL on the lot (same thing as ours but with different name badges). It's a 2005 1/2 ton with over 100,000 miles. It's 4 wheel drive. They're asking over $18,000 for it. Mine is 2 wheel drive (never needed 4wd the whole time I've owned it)...more tow capacity than 4wd. I told him I didn't realize that 4 wheel drive was a $10,000 option and walked out. It's not a waiste of time when you find places you know to never bother with again.

Since 2008 I have experience incompetent, rude and poor customer service from this location. Even another Nissan location has anonymously shamed me for dealing with them and refused to help fix piece of my "what was" a brand new car that are falling apart as they let a third party install parts.

After have a tough initial 4 months with promises being broken and yelled at on the phone by Ali, a service manager (extremely rude and conceded), my husband and I asked to meet with a co-owner and we decided to give them another try. We even back away from lifetime oil changes to get away from them.

Nevertheless, since they allowed auto trim to install leather (poor quality by the way) in my car...I have had failure in my power seat, cords hanging from under my seats and pieces falling off my seats on more than 8-10 occasions. Auto Centers service staff, Terri, tells me that they will not be able to do anything after the bumper to bumper warranty expires even though the jobs is obviously faulty. Oh, and not to forget my windshield was cracked when I received my car back from getting the last pieces fixed (more are off now).

I absolutely would advise and testify that this is not the Nissan dealership you want to deal with. Josh, a service advisor once wanted me to drive away with a airbag and hazard light on with my newborn baby in the car as they did not want to pay for a rental for more than one day and my car would not be done until 2 days. Might I add at this time there was less than 1000 miles on the car.

My family has had nissans purchased from Bommarito and I would recommend them based off customer treatment and not tampering with vehicles. I am aware that all car dealerships can be skeptible, but this one is a for sure NO!

My experience with Auto Centers was quick and easy. I found the car i liked and we eventually agreed on a price that i feel was fair to both parties, sure i would've liked it for less but that's business i guess. In all seriousness though, my salesman was great, moving quickly the whole time so i could get out of there. i am happy with my purchase.

I first went to AutoCenters Nissan to do some test driving and figure out what we wanted. Heather Swanson greeted me and she was very nice and polite. She said she was relatively new, so she might not know all the answers right off hand, but she would find out anything she didnt know for me, so she was honest too :) :) I test drove a Rogue, Murano, Pathfinder, and a Titan. Heather answered all of my questions and made sure I walked away having an idea of what I liked for when I brought my wife back. Honestly, I then went to other dealers to see what they had to offer (stupid idea). I came back the next day with my wife and she liked the Rogue, but LOVED LOVED LOVED the Murano. It was a 2010 Nissan Murano SL AWD comfortably equpped. Heather was very nice and NOT PUSHY. We explained to her what our limitations were and what we were hoping for. We easily got the feeling that she wanted to sell us the Murano, and she would do what she could to help us get a good deal, and she DID. As with any dealer we had to go back and forth with offers and counter offers, but with the help of Heather, we finally reached a deal we were VERY happy with. We came back the next day to sign all the paperwork, there were a couple glitches (which EVERY BUSINESS has), but Heather made sure everything was fixed properly and we drove away with a Murano and a deal we were VERY VERY happy with. We are now a very proud Nissan family with a 2004 Yellow Nissan Sentra Spec V and a 2010 Tinted Bronze Nissan Murano SL AWD. Look, it is very simply, you should buy your next vehicle where you can get the best deal, but you should FIRST START with AutoCenters Nissan and ask for Heather Swanson. Tell her Joe with the yellow sentra sent you. She will remember me :) :)

I don't know why there would be any bad reviews, I guess I don't have bad credit. I would expect to be treated less than perfect myself if i didn't pay my bills on time. Oh well, this isn't a lesson on morality- but a business review. I shopped around at 3 other nissan dealerships thinking i could get a better deal in the big city. Although i was treated fairly at 2 out of 3 of them, nobody treated me as well as autocenters. i was given a tour of thier service facility and they even gave me free oil changes for the next 3 years! I also got the best price by far. I love my new Altima and would not hesitate to buy again or recommend friends and family. this is my 5th new car, and it was definately the most painless and best.

I bought an 2007 altima used with 48000 miles. I really did my homework before buying this car. I shopped for the best possible price at multiple dealership. I ran across auto center and though WOW what a deal. Just an amazing deal and my payments are so cheap. Sadly after I bought the car I found all of it flaws and auto centers and my self have been going back and forth for a month and still nothing is happening. My A/C doesn't even work. I took my car back to Auto Center and left it over night so they could fix the a.c amoung other things. I get the car the next day and the a.c worked in the parking lot, but buy the time I go home, it didn't work. I was told that everything would be fixed that day I dropped the car off. NOTHING was fixed except the AC until it broke 45 minutes later. Oh and don't let me forget to tell you that Auto Center is 37 miles from my house in St. Louis. It isn't like a hop skip and a jump away instead I have to take the very least and hour and half out of my day for the commute. They really give them selves the name of a used car salesman. THey are sooo nice until you buy the car and then they go back on everything they should fix. I will NEVER buy a car from them and will NEVER recommend. Before anyone reads all the reviews on google make a note of the dates at which the reviews were entered. Most of the 5 stars are made on the same day. April 12, then some more in octobers, etc. I would imagine that it is someone at the business making 5 star comments to out weigh the one star. I am NEVER a person to write a review on a company. At first I was singing there praises now I'm pissed! IF you do choose to go to this dealership be my guest. I hope your experiences are better than mine. Just note every flaw you see in the car and take it home for a night before you sign the paperwork. NEVER AGAIN WILL I CHOOSE AUTO CENTER NISSAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: good service prior to buying

Cons: Bad servince after buying

.

They change service managers and advisors every 3-6 months. All they are concerned with is selling maintenance, but if you have warranty concerns, "they never find a problem" and then want to charge you for checking it. They charge you for maintenance services that they don't even do. I had this occur to me on several occasions when service was sold to me, and I checked and the service was never even DONE! Any time they do warranty work, check your vehicle carefully, every time I had work done, I had to go back cause they broke or damaged things while doing the repair. They are dishonest and scam artists. Stay way.??

I have read some of these other reviews and most people are way off base! This experience was fantastic. I don't have the best credit, but they were still able to help me get a vehicle that fit all of my wants and needs. I had a friend recommend this dealership and I am here to pass on the good word.

Thanks Auto Centers! My Family and I love our Yukon!!

This dealership is in a good practice of doing bad business. They will put adds on the internet for gas cards. discounts and ect. When you go in they worm their way around it. They will try to get your trade for nothing. If you buy a extended warranty watch them. What they sell you may not be what you get when you need it. Even when its on paper. If you have problems with them.... I suggest Better Business Burea. Make a complaint.... Don't let them get away with it. I'm not!!!!!!!!

Bought a new Nissan from them. Got a good deal as I did my homework before I entered the place. Did not honor deal they sent me via email that was $$$ cash after I purchased car. I called salesman and he basically said "bring in your completed survey to us and we will give you the $$$" I did not want to hand them my survey because I did not trust that they would not alter it. I wrote the company and received no response. Filled out survey and heard nothing. Even included email and it seems Nissan could care less once they have your money. I love push-button car but will not buy another Nissan ever again!

Pros: Awesome car/free oil changes for as long as I own car!

Cons: DO NOT LIVE UP TO AGREEMENTS WITH NEW CAR BUYERS

We were approached by a salesman I told him the down payment we had, I told him the payment I wanted, and made it very clear that these are the numbers. This guy insisted we come inside and he could look in the computer and take a look at some of the cars that popped up. The salesman sat us down and went to the used car manager?s office. He immediately came out and asked me to take a look at this car. This car he showed me was an almost brand new Dodge Intrepid. I asked the salesman if this was within the budget. He said "We'll make it work" and asked me to test drive it. So I did. he was pressuring my wife to fill out a credit app, with my info while I was gone! I came back and asked how much. He left and 15 min came back. Stating that they were having trouble getting financing for me. I was like what do you mean, I haven?t even filled out a credit app. 3 more times I asked for the price of the vehicle and he left for a minimum of 25 min and returned with nothing but to update me on the financing of the vehicle. After 3 hours, I decided to leave. The used car manager came out. I explained, He pulled out the numbers. It was over $10'000 more than I had told the salesman I wanted to spend, plus 2x the downpayment I told him that was ridicules and that I was leaving. He got upset and asked if I knew how hard it was to get financing for a $30'000 vehicle for someone with credit like me. Needless to say, I was upset. I informed him that I was very specific about my needs and they were completely ignored. I left and the used car manager came out as I was getting into my vehicle to continue to confrontation. He told me I had awful credit and that I needed to show more respect for the work they had done for me, in which I replied "I didn?t ask you to help me get a $30'000 vehicle" He turned to go back into the dealership and called me a "Fag*ot"

I visited this dealership today, and the finance manager tried to pressure me to put down $1500 on a fully financed preapproved loan. My loan was already approved for up to 130% of the LTV which was well within the parameters without a down payment. When I asked the finance manager the specific dollar amounts that amounted to the $1500 down, he refused to provide answers. I thanked him and walked out. He followed me out and then starts calling out all of the numbers he refused to give me in the office. That's a bunch of xx*?!!@!! I would buy anything from these people.

Although this has been close to 10 years ago, I was set to get a brand new car. I had told them I couldn't go over a certain amount for the montly car payment and they stated it wouldn't be, however when I went to sign the final papers it was $60 more per month than I had said I could go over. I walked out of the dealership. They called for the next few weeks offering a lower and lower amount but still not coming down to my payment. I drove my new car that was under my maximum there and picked up my deposit I had placed with them. -- I understand they are in the business to sell but if you can't make a deal -- just say you can't do it.
