Jerrys does have a variety of produce yes but over all i give it a 2/5 for the following erasons. He has no meat and deli, his groceries are cheap bc they have the quality of ALDI so if u wanna put fake food in your body go ahead. Another thing that shocked me was in the winter therusted ceiling was leaking in multiple spots so they had oldbuckets all over the floor(very un sanitary). he has old refrigerator cases held together with tape on the side and he has absolutely no shelfing just boxes piled on top of each other cut open. The only reason his produce is pre packaged is bc the only reason its so cheap is bc its old and so u cant examine the product carefully its prepackaged so u just buy it. And the only reason why some times in themonth he will have a crazy special is bc he pays off inspectors to mark the delivery as no good so he can scam the farmers. he then gets it fora fraction of the price and sells it (one of my friends is a manager there trust me i know). Pretty much overall he doesnot have good quality grocery, no deli, and no meet. his storeissloppy. WHy would any body shop there?
If you like to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, then Jerry's is a good place to go. It has the usual fruits and vegetables that the grocery stores carry, but it also has some of the more unusual types as well. The prices are very reasonable, and they always have some weekly specials where you have no choice but to buy them!! Some of the fruits or vegetables are pre-packaged, but most of the time you can pick your own and bag them. Jerry's also sells milk, eggs, cheese and other dairy, as well as some fresh breads and rolls. They also sell soda and snacks as well. There is a parking lot (which they share with McDonald's), but it's hard to find a parking space near the store entrance.
This is a local neighborhood produce store that has everything that you would need on a regular basis. They have a pretty good selection of fruits, veggies, meats, breads, dairy and other common grocery items.
Their produce is fresh and the prices are better than a chain grocery store.
Sometimes it can get a bit crowded.
This is a great alternative to super market produce. Jerrys always has the best deals in the area and the produce is fresh. They also have ethnic foods and some dairy products. Stop by each week because the sales are always changing and you never know what you can find for cheap!
Wonderful, large selection of fresh produce at low-low prices well under any commercial supermarket chain. If you are looking for something exotic for a special recipe, you are likely to find it here. Also carries selection of imported specialty foods and a few essential grocery items like fresh milk, eggs and cereals. Parking lot gets really crowded on weekends, and narrow aisles inside can make shopping experience a little frustrating during peak times. This is a popular place, so expect lines....staff tries hard to move you along quickly and will open new registers as needed.
PROS: Great selection, low prices for produce of all kinds
CONS: Can be crowded, parking lot busy
This is the best fruit market ever! I go here all the time and get GREAT deals. They have the best fruit and vegetables and everything is always really fresh. They are always stocking fresh products so its great. They also carry dairy products and fresh baked bread. They're prices are also really reasonable and make this fruit market even better!
Well worth the drive up to Niles for the most stunning array of produce I've seen outside California--and it's cheap. This place gets packed on the weekends, but the lines move quickly.
Pros: Incredible prices
Cons: A bit of a drive
