Last week I rented a car from Enterprise (O'Hare). I must say it was the most positive rental car experience I have ever had. \r

The car was clean and well maintained. All 5 people I interacted with were friendly and helpful. A cheerful greeter apologized for a delay (5 minutes or less wait time) from a small line, gave out complimentary chilled Dasani, and gave detailed driving instructions. The service agents patiently helped me pick out my car, confirmed I had been offered water, and made sure I understood my driving directions out of Chicago. When I asked about a gong I saw in the lobby, I was told it was left by a customer and travelers are invited to ring the gong to improve bad moods etc. \r

To be honest, given how poorly travelers are treated by airlines these days, I began to suspect my positive experience. I actually started to worry what would happen when I returned the car! I was pleasantly surprised, when arriving 30 minutes late to turn in the car, that the car was checked in quickly, without any quibbly claims of damage, and without additional fees.

Pros: Amazing customer service

Cons: Small distance from airport but supposedly they are relocating soon.
