Jai Hind Food Store

I am sick and tired of the women behind th counter constantly asking for cash. I understand that when it is about $5-$6 but the last time for $26 worth of groceries she asked me if I could give cash. looks like they are either pocketing the money or not paying taxes.

At Patel Bros. even for $2 they will take credit card. Not to mention more variety and cheaper prices. Who needs the headache from them.

I recently bought a bag of Atta from this store. The same brand, same size atta was sold at another store less than a mile for $3.00 less.When I called the store about it, I was told "different store, different price".
What a rip off..

they are so nice and they have the cleanest Indian store ever and there prices are also very good they all are very nice i would recommend this store to every one

You should buy the home-made parathas, rasam & sambar there. They are authentic South Indian & taste real good. They are also healthier compared to packed parathas which may contain preservatives. I just bought them. Just heat & eat and they are fresh. You guys should try them too.

I bought a bag of rice from them and they charged me 10$ more than the other india grocery stores, when they charged me $17.99 I thought they made a mistake but he confirmed that it is 17.99 because of some recent developments. I was curious to find out if that was the case in the other indian stores and then realised that I was ripped off. I would not recommend you to go this store, I feel cheated and very angry.
