What a GREAT experience I had at this office!!!! Very friendly staff
and caring Dr's. Do not fear this office the staff was amazing and made my child smile even though he was not feelig well. The Dr took extra time to make me and my child feecompletely comfortable in a new enviroment. I will recommend this office to everyone, Thanks B and D.

What a great experience! The staff and doctors are very compasionate and caring. If you are in need of a pediatrician, I highly recommend Bard and Didriksen Pediatrics. Again, felt like family and my child was very well cared for.

I'm really surprised to hear all the bad reviews. My 14 month old has been going here since he was born. I've never had a problem with them. I'm constantly calling because I'm one of those moms that freak out if he has the sniffles and they never seem annoyed with me. I go to Dr. Bard and Dr. Herman. Their nurses and staff are great. I can't say anything about the others because I think each doctor has differen nurses and staff. But overall, I'd say this is a great place. I've never considered going to a different pediatrician and probably never will.

The staff at this office is unreliable & rude. My son is 15 months old and I have had multiple issues with them - including prescriptions not getting called in to pharmacies, scheduling me for an appointment at a certain time that they 'could not find' when I got there... then made me come back another day instead of squeezing me in, and just being downright rude on the phone. I have seen Dr. Didriksen & Dr. McReady, and I did like both of the actual doctors, but the staff there is unfriendly and rude... and you know most of the time you deal with the staff and not the actual doctor. I have heard this office is going downhill, and I couldn't agree more. Beware!!!

I left this office and went to A to Z pediatrics. My reasoning was simple. The staff at Bard & Didriksen acts as if dealing with my child and I is a burden to them. The front desk staff is rude, and I don't think either of the doctors for whom the clinic is named even like children. At A to Z Pediatrics, the staff is friendly and helpful and the doctors really seem to love the children they care for. Everyone in the office has been helpful and considerate - even when I call to ask my 5th question of the day! I am so glad I moved my child to A to Z.

We used to be patients of Dr Bards but have become quite dissatisfied with the care we have received lately. They seem to be more concerned with making money than taking care of children. The doctors are competent and do seem to enjoy caring for kids but they have got to get control of their staff, especially their office manager.
After our last experience there, we will be switching to a new pediatrician, Dr Wagner. We have seen her a few times in the office and she has now moved on and opened her own practice. The staff there at A to Z is friendly, professional and genuinely happy to see you. My advice is to get off the sinking ship that is Bard and Didriksen while you still can.

My son used to see Dr. Eberhart who was a pediatrician at Bard & Didriksen. Then when Dr. Eberhart along with 2 other pediatricians decided to open their own practice, things just went downhill from there. I contemplated staying with Bard & Didriksen after Dr. Eberhart left just because the office was always clean & the nurses were friendly. Office staff, however, is a different story and once they found out that I was transferring my son to Dr. Eberhart, they wouldn't even return my phone calls when it pertained to questions about his shot records for immunizations that THEY had given him!! Needless to say, I wasn't very happy. I understand that they might be upset that I was transferring my son elsewhere, but out of respect they could at least return my phone call.

We finally left this practice due to the unprofessional staff. I've had multiple billing and records issues. They continually billed our old insurance even though they had the correct information. They failed to send medical records or referrals to specialists on several occasions. I have heard the front desk staff mock parent concerns and child behavior. All of this is unacceptable. When my child needs medical attention, I don't want to have to worry about how the visit is submitted to insurance or if the frontline staff are going to be rude.

That said, the doctors are competent and caring. If only they cared enough about their patients to address these issues, we would have stayed.

We have been going to Bard & Didriksen for right about 11 years now. In that time we have seen Dr, Bard, Dr. Didriksen, and Dr. Wanguard... before staying with Wanguard. Every Dr. there is great, but he just instantly bonds with your child. One thing i love is when you go there, they talk to your child... They treat your child as the actual patient instead of the nothing sitting in the corner. They know your child almost right away. not just by name, but they remember convo's they had with the child the last time they were in. stuff you wouldnt think would be in a chart. and with issues that came up with my son over the last year, Dr. has shown that he will do what ever it takes to get the job done.. he has spent a great amount of time on the phone with me, talking to me making sure i understand EVERYTHING that is going on with my son. and battling with insurance. he just does not stop to amaze me. These Dr.'s are so great that we refused to change dr's when we moved 3 hours away.. we would make the drive if need be.

great doctors, which in turn means a busy office, they are understaffed, and the load of patients make the underlings miserable,i was treated rudely by them, and when i confronted the rude worker ,the other workers jumped all over me,if I'm expected to wait 45 minutes past appointment time, with 2 kids whining and i ask for an explanation...i don't appreciated having the door slammed in my face in front of my children..the answer i got was complain to the next person, aside form the doctor my kids see, the staff is phony, rude and arrogant! I would highly recommend going elsewhere!

My daughter see's Dr. Eberhart and we love her! She is courteous and professional. The office is clean and bright and extremely child friendly. The staff is wonderful and does everything they can to work us in according to my schedule. I always feel as if my child is in the most capable hands and that they truly care about our family. We have never seen any other doctor, but truly love Dr. Eberhart. I am sure all of the others are wonderful too!

These are the best doctors I've ever experienced, bar none. My daughter is a patient of Dr. Bard and we LOVE her. Even if we haven't seen her in a year, Dr. Bard walks in without consulting the chart and immediately recognizes my daughter, asks her about the rest of her family (by name), her school sports activities etc. She's also very perceptive and knows exactly what to be asking a child at every age (e.g. adolescent issues). We've also seen several of the other doctors over the years, and they're all wonderful. I highly recommend any of them. They have Saturday hours, too! It'll be a sad day when we "age out" of this office!

These doctors are amazing; my child is a patient of Dr. Bard but have seen all at one time or another. They have a brand new office that is very child-friendly and always spend a great deal of time with my daughter. Having grown up visiting only a family pracitioner, I was not sold on the idea of taking her to a pediatrician but cannot imagine her going anywhere else.

You can't ask for better pediatricians. My girls were patients of Dr. Bard but saw all the doctors at different times. They were all very caring and very helpful...treating them like their own children. The waiting room and office is divided into two sides seperated by actual walls...sick and well...something I think all children's doctors should use. I never once called and couldn't have the children seen. If you live in or near Edwardsville and have children...THIS is the place for you.

We have been extremely pleased with this doctor's office. We usually see Dr. Wangard. He's very friendly and takes the time to answer all the questions I have. Whenever I call with a concern; a nurse always calls me back within the hour. Another thing I really like is that they have 2 waiting rooms - one for sick kids and one for healthy kids. They also have a service for after-hour emergencies, which links you up to nurses at a hospital in St. Louis. The nurses aren't quite as friendly as the doctors - occassionaly i feel like they are rushing me. Then again, it is a very busy place since the doctors are so terrific. They are building a new office, which I am looking forward to seeing. I plan on sticking with them until my son is too old to go.
