Today my d700 shutter got stuck and I was freaking out. I tried calling Nikon and they didn't really help me at all and basically told me to just continue to shoot with it, um hello that will not work, My camera just can't poop out on me

I have been a customer of their's for a long time and have been pleased with their service. Whereas sending it to Nikon takes 4-6 weeks, these guys can turnaround your camera in as little as a couple of days. Also I was surprised, but they also fix gray cameras. Overall they're a bit more expensive than other stores but their service and turnaround is much worth it.

I sent my Nikon D70 in for a simple cleaning job and bench-testing to verify lens speeds, etc. Nothing was broken, I just wanted it cleaned and tested to verify it was still within specs. I also had a large speck of dirt? visible through the viewfinder that I couldn't remove. They did advise me if they needed to disassemble the camera to clean that speck out, would cost extra, but if you have a nice camera, you do your best to keep it nice, so I agreed.
When they returned my camera to me, the speck was gone and all worked except for the manual flash popup button. No matter what I tried, it would not work. I called them, and was instructed to return it and they would fix it. (I had to pay postage and insurance again, they would NOT reimburse me for it) They did fix the flash, but it makes me wonder what kind of company they are if they don't even verify everything works before returning it to a customer! And they make the customer eat the cost of returning the camera to fix a botched job!
The camera works great now, but it cost me extra postage and an extra 10 days downtime. If I were on a tight photo schedule and really needed my camera . . . . I guess I would have been SOL!
I'd like to have my camera cleaned and bench-tested every couple of years or so, but I'll try to find another Nikon authorized service center to send it to.
