Always have such a nice time at 94 West. I am at this restaurant more than any other restaurant around. I really enjoy their Champagne Sunday brunch, all you can eat crab legs on wednesday and thursdays and my favorite is the seafood buffet on Friday nights. I had my daughters baby shower here last month and it was absolutley beautiful, everyone had such a great time. The service is always great and very friendly!

I attended the dinner in which Lisa H was referring too. Again, excellent food, great service until the end. Unfortunately, I felt very uncomfortable as a guest due to the "Customer Is Not Right" attitude. It was unfortunate that the evening ended on a sour note! Especially, when the host went to great lengths to create a wonderful Mothers' Day Suprise.

My son, his wife and several of their cousins, sacrificed to bring together 8-10 mothers for Mother's Day Dinner at this restaurant. They planned this auspicious and expensive event for months, even in the midst of their wedding planning. An elegant room was reserved, which the restaurant attempted to cancel one day before the event. We arrived on Mother's Day eve with approximately 30 adults and 10 children. All was going well. The service was good and the food was absolutely delectable. At the end of the evening, Peggy, one of workers flipped the script with the bill, reneged on the contract with regards to the cost for children, and caused total chaos to an otherwise superb evening. She quoted one thing during the planning phase for children, and called for something different at the end of the night. To add insult to injury, she was unprofessional, discussing negotiations not only in front of approximately 30-40 guests, but continued the conversation in the public section of the restaurant in front of other customers. While the ambience, food and servers are great, this restaurant lacks customer service, the ability to keep their word contractually, and are extremely apathetic towards the customer's choice of their restaurant, resting purely on the laurels that they have "plenty of customers," and they are a family-owned business. What does that really mean? Peggy had no worries, would not admit to making a mistake, kept telling us that she has been there from day one, etc., etc. If you dine here, MAKE SURE you get everything in writing, and you may want to double-check with someone other that the Owner's son (who laughed the entire time, but was unable to make a decision) and Peggy ("I'm the only Peggy here") who could care less about contractual agreements.

Fantastic menu and service. The variety of their menu is worthwhile going for lunch or dinner. One of their specialities is green noodles. I have found their portions are always enough and I usually take some home. They will make any drink you are inclined to order and it usually is plentiful. The atmosphere is friendly and appealing whether it is family or a small gathering of friends. The pricing is normal for the area which may be pricey for lunch.

The Sunday brunch at 94West is out of this world. There are enormous scallops, crab legs, chicken, beef, prime rib, eggs, omlets, panckes, sausage, incredible desserts, and campaigne. The brunch is $20, which was definately worth it!

The waitress did try to pick me up while I was with my husband, and that was a strange experience :)

The prices for dinner are pretty expensive, and the bar in the evening is defiantely an older crowd. I wouldn't go there to try and unwind.

If you're in the mood for a good brunch, definatley give it a try

My fiance and I decided to take my parents and godparents out to a nice dinner at 94 West. We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night, and we were seated at about 7:00. We did not know this was going to turn into a 3:30 hour ordeal trying to get served. Apparently our server forgot to put our order in, and we couldn't even get drinks in the mean time. I was forced to go to the bar myself for a cocktail. When the food finally arrived, it was sub par and half of our meals were cold. The fish was absolutely horrible and my fiance sent it back. The manager came over to check on us at the end of the meal and we explained the terrible meal we just had. To make up for the ordeal she offered us an after dinner cordial. Are you kidding me? The last thing I wanted was to be there any longer. We completely over payed for a meal I wish I had never been to.

My husband, my daughter and our nephew went to 94 West for dinner on Mothers Day. The service was excellent and I liked the fact that the menu had a wide variety to choose from. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection, very tender and juicy! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and to make this event more special, we got to meet the owner who made us feel very welcome. Thanks for the exceptional food Brian !

Pros: Too many to decide

We have been here about 5 times in the last year and each time we have good service and food. I always order the same thing, king crab legs. They are cooked perfectly and moderately priced. I'm not sure if it's because we dine early (6-ish), but we never have to wait for seating. We also dine at the Signature Room in the Hancock building and they are very similar in quality, except they don't have the beautiful view.

It was Valentine's Day and my family (8) went out to celebrate my cousins B-day,which we had reservations. First it took nearly 1 hr between getting our appietizers to getting or meal & two of my family members meals were cold. Then the spacing in the dinning area was very tight and during our dinner the staff set up tables for a party of 20+. After all that was done that made our area even tighter and my cousin wasn't even able to get out of his chair. We did speak w/the manager, but all he said was,"It's Valentine's Day." The staff didn't even try to accomadat us to makes us feel comfortable. So after that we left w/out cutting our cake that we brought to dinner for my cousin b-day. I would never go back to this place because if they couldn't deliver proper service & hot food on a special day then they can't do it on an ordinary day.
