If you need your car fixed Ken and his brother are the guys to make the repairs. Fast, honest and easy to work with! All of our cars have had to vist Finish Line for one thing or another, they do a great job fixing dents, painting a fender

The wife and I love our late model, "high end" vehicles. I had the misfortune of grazing my Infiniti's front end on a highway guard rail and my wife's GM car was deeply scratched (down to the primer) while it was parked, by a careless driver's mirror. Run of the mill body shops would have charged a thousand buckaroos to completely refinish the entire side of my wife's car. If you ever had your car painted, you know how marginally ok the results usually are. Ken, at finish line, used a technique that I once saw on TV where they were restoring an antique Ferrari. It involves a combination of multiple wet-sanding and reapplication of color with finesse that is a very rare skill indeed. The one day, $146 results were phenomenal (clear-coat and all.) Then, Ken's skills saved me over $1500 by restoring my Infiniti's perfect good looks that were pretty badly messed up by a guard-rail. The more extensive repairs took three days. The Finish Line is very friendly and surprisingly clean for an auto body repair shop. Don't confuse them with the Finish Line Car Wash down their street. Just use Mapquest. If you choose them for an estimate and repairs, you'll get full benefit of American knowhow and ingenuity without feeling like your patronage is exploiting illegal immigrants from Mexico. Call ahead, at: (847) 634-9430. They repair police vehicles, so i suggest that you take extra care not to bounce a check there. I was also very impressed with what looked like a NASCAR racing vehicle in their care. I was sort-of hoping to see Danica Patrick in Ken's office . . . Darn, must have just missed her !!

Pros: They'll turn your automotive woes into joy without killing the budget

Cons: Rent the 1973 movie: "The Sting," with Paul Newman and Robert Redford
