.

I had a very unfortunate experience with this store.

Shortly after purchasing a pair of shoes from the store I reviewed my receipt. I saw that they charged me full sales tax during a state tax holiday (the state reduced sales tax by 5%.) I called to ask them about the oversight and was told "We are not participating because we don't know anything about it." Apparently it never occurred to them to look into the event even though a number of their customers questioned their stance (sales clerk offered this information to me.)

Participation was not optional - it was mandatory by a state law.

While they finally did reimburse the difference, it took three days for them to calculate what was owed. During this time they never apologized, were condescending and treated me as if I was inconveniencing them. After speaking with the manager, Jay, it was clear that he was indifferent that he lost the future business of a first time customer. Such a pity.??
