Wood seating and wainscoting, Irish artifacts and the scent of fresh-slung brews permeate this space. Meals at this boisterous hang begin with bangers, cockles and mussels in white wine cream sauce, smoked salmon on brown bread and mini Reubens. Follow-ups include fish-and-chips, beef and Guinness stew, corned beef and cabbage and shepherd's pie.

This is wonderful place. Great food and excellent service. We have had a family party there in there upstairs banquet rooms. It is beautiful. Didn't really know they had these rooms. They are really beautiful and very reasonable. ITS YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Live music at the weekends and A great Irish session every Thursday night. I can say enough about this place.

Ratings_icons Wierd Experience Last Night

Steve B.

My friend and I stopped for a beer at MMs last night and had a wierd experience. Because we weren't regulars (we were told), we were given smaller pint glasses. Regulars were given large pint glasses. My friend was a little embarrassed by this, particulary because he had been there before and recommended the place. If you're wondering, he is a really nice, never drunk, non-combative guy who just felt slighted and unwelcome here.

The food was good although all either of us took away from the experience was an unwelcome feeling and the desire to go somewhere else next time.

This is a great place to go when you want a filling meal. They have awesome food. Almost all of their food is hearty and filling. I would recommend anyone who is in Chicago to go here.

Ratings_icons I love to go there when I am homesick

Even though I am an Australian, I love to go to this pub as it has a lot of similar traits and dishes that an Aussie pub has. The staff here are jolly and really friendly and the atmosphere is one where everyone is your friend. They have great prices on their brews on tap and their bar food. One of the best Irish pubs that I have been to in a few years!

PROS: Traditional Irish and friendly atmosphere

Ratings_icons Traditional Irish Pub

Molly Malone's is a traditional Irish pub on the edge of Forest Park. The atmosphere is vintage Dublin with rich wood and dim lighting. The bartenders are friendly and give a generous pour. The pub food is top notch with hearty pot pies and steaming fish and chips.

Ratings_icons Quite Night or Party TIME !

Very quaint clean place. Nice atmosphere for a dinner for two. I went here with my husband last year for our anneversary, which happens to be March 17. Great Shepard's Pie ! Wait staff very professional, and prices resonable, actually inexpensive as you would expect to pay more being the atmosphere is so nice. And it is a hoping place at night for the young crowd.
