I strongly recommend Arroz con Gandules here. I usualy eat just that. Catering is available and really all the traditional puerto rican plates are good including pollo guizado, carne guisada, jibarito sandwiches. The dine-in space is not a place I like to sit and eat in. I prefer to carry-out. There is always plenty of street parking, but don't leave you car doors unlocked;)

Don't waste your money on this place. The service was terrible and you can get better Mexican food elsewhere. The server got two of our drinks wrong after we specifically told him what we wanted. Two of three entrees were fixed

Las Palmas is a very nice, upscale mexican eatery that is a good date stop. Good food, great service, occasional music, a good bar and nice low lighting make for a nice evening without making you look like el cheapo.

As a concierge, I've eaten here several times and love it more and more each return visit. The staff is friendly, extremely service-oriented, very knowledgeable (especially their tequilas), the food is very fresh, and reasonably priced.
