Jims Pawn & Jewelry

The slection of jewelery should please anyone's taste. If you are tying to pawn a piece- you can't expect to get the price back that you paid for, at an over priced jewelry store. I enjoyed my experience looking and found severel pieces worth owning. Check Jim's out before going to a chain store. You have nothing to loose, except your hard earned cash.

Jim's jewelry repair is the least expensive of any jewelry store and he offers fast service. I would recommend his credibility to anyone. Jim is honest and reliable. If you are afraid of going to a pawn shop, you need not worry about this one. Jim's family has been in this community for generations. In fact, Jim is the nephew of the owner of the reputable jewelry store here in town.

I own the place, and I challenge any Jewelry store to match my price. Addressing the trust issue, any item purchased here can be returned within 30 days for a full money back no hassle refund. The pure economics of how I obtain diamonds blows any retail Jewelry store out of the water. I know every consumer is not willing to deal with the "pawnshop" image, and that's O.K. But if you're smart, and you want a quality product for a very reduced price, we can talk. The price of gold has forced me to scrap a huge a amount of inventory, I have literally thousands of diamonds I'm willing to let go under Jewelers wholesale. Check me out, you'll be severely impressed.

it's an okay place to go if you're looking for something cheap. I wouldn't say they have good quality stuff, but they're a pawn shop so I guess that's what to expect. they have a pretty good size selection that's worth looking at but I haven't bought anything there. don't know that they would stand behind the jewelry if it broke so I didn't want to take a chance.

I just don't feel like I can trust a pawn shop that is now pretending that it's a jewelry store. Granite City has a very respected jeweler there already, and it seems like this place is trying to compete or something. there is no way they can though, go see for yourself. I would rather pay a little more for the quality and trust, than to go some place I can also pay my water bill. kinda a joke. good luck

This is a convenient store to shop in and you can buy both used and new items. They have a variety of items to choose from and much more than what I imagined would ever be in there. I don't usually shop in pawn shops but once you are inside, the owner is helpful and makes you feel comfortable. If you are looking for a particular item then don't forget to check out this place, it just might be here!

This pawn shop is a lot cleaner than the others in town. And his prices are usually fair. He offers used and new items in his store with a wide variety ranging from tools to furniture. I would say the only negative is that he's picky on what he accepts. So it's good for the buyer but bad for the seller. For example he won't take a tv over 5 years old etc. It also has a bill payment center in it.

I don't normally go to pawn shops but I have a few times visited Jim's Pawn Shop in search of jewelry or a good deal and the prices always seem to be right with a large selection.

Now I am not the pawn shop type. I will tell you this. Jim has a huge selection of jewelry, furniture, and household items. The place is mindboggling. While I have never purchased anything pawned, I will say that the jewelry repair business is the best in town. The prices are far below that of the other Hudson's in town. They are quick, fair and they do great work. They are the home of the $2.00 installed watch battery.
