My sister-inlaw had her quince back in September 2011 here and it was a horrible experience since the day after they signed the contract. The day that they signed the contract the Manager basically made promises on things that he did not follow through on. First of all the day they signed the contract he said that all tables would have fresh flowers in whichever color we wanted. About 2 weeks before the party we asked how many flowers were going to be on the table and he proceeds to tell us that the company they bought the flowers from had closed down a couple months back. He did not bother to tells us that the day of the contract signing. Second he said that we could have the hot pink bows and napkins for the table and then 2 weeks prior he says that the company doesn't have any more hot pink after he had told us that he could supply them. Then the same thing happened with the cake, we told and showed them a specific design and color and he promised that the cake was going to be delicious and just the way we wanted it. And just like everything else, it wasn't. The food was served late and every course that followed took and extreme amount of time to be brought out. After the pasta course it took over 30 minutes for the chicken and beef to be served. Which i feel was unfair to all the guests. The bartenders were extremely rude and provided horrible service. The carpet had a terrible not cleaned in years smell to it. the bathrooms smelled bad and had no soap and hardly any paper. The security guards were extremely rude, just to say that my mother wanted to step outside and she was told that she couldn't or else they would not let her back in. When my mother asked why not the security guard proceeded to pull on my mothers arm and push her back in. To top it all off at a certain point during the night the security guards were not letting people in anymore because it looked like we had too many people inside. And a handful of people who were already inside stepped outside for different reasons and when they wanted to come back in they were not allowed!! When we tried to talk to the manager they told us that we were over the limit, even though we knew this wasn't true we weren't about to tell everyone to sit down to do a head count so we asked what they wanted us to do and their answer was more money!! So then we told the manager that we would pay but to just let the people in and when we paid him he told the security guards that only six people would be allowed in. Which was not the deal to begin with. The management was very unprofessional and he was a total crook!!!! At this point people were being turned away and my sister inlaw noticed what was going on and she tried to talk to the manager who was standing at the door and he was extremely rude to her she even began to cry due to all the frustration and knowing that her family was being turned away. Since we had no other options we had to let the people waiting outside know that they manager would not let them in and explain the entire situation. So to sum it all up I would never recommend this place ever!!!!!! Unless you want to be embarrassed, have horrible customer service, and a disgusting smelly banquet hall i suggest looking for a better place. This business only cares about taking your money and that's it. They don't care about anything else. What should have been a wonderful and special day for my sister inlaw was ruined by their greediness and unprofessional horrible attitudes. Thanks regency inn banquets you definitely do not know how to make dreams come true!

Where do I began? The manager for this hall is awful!!!! I read the other review and the same happen to me. I had my daughter quince or sweet 15 here and it was nothing but a nightmare. He charged us for 200 guest and we only had 150 and didnt budge on giving us a discount. Dinner was suppose to be served at 7:00pm it ended being served at 9:00pm. The Bar was open bar not a cash bar and they where charging my family cash intill we found out about it. The flowers the suppose to supply never did happen. The servers where rude, and didnt want to bring out seconds!!! My daughter was even crying of all the fustration!!!! I would never recommend this place ever!!!!!! You can go somewhere else for a better price and way nicer!!!!

My wife and I hired Regency Inn Banquet Hall for our wedding reception. The manager of the location; Jimmy Gountanis was nothing but difficult to us. We booked our wedding reception for 10/10/10 on July 2009, and ever since the down payment, he would never communicate to us about updates, we'd ask questions and never get answers. We asked him countless times what the final total would be, and he would never give us the number. We always remained current with our payments and on Oct 6th, I called Jimmy, so we could come in and bring in the final payment for the final count. I asked Jimmy on the phone, "Can we bring in a personal check"? He says, "Yes". We come in that night and we tell him that our final count is 185 and he told us that we HAVE to pay for 200 guest. Even though he kept saying that our final count would be what we pay for, but now he tells us that we have to pay for 200 guest and this whole time we dont even know what the final dollar amount owed is. If he knew the whole time that we had to pay for 200 people at minimun, why wasnt this dollar amount told to us earlier. And when we went to write him the check, he says, "no checks, just cash or bank check!" WHY DID YOU TELL ME EARLIER WE COULD PAY WITH A CHECK!?!? We pay with a bank check that Saturday. Our wedding package included flowers at ever table. We paid for 20 tables, 10 guest per table, and there wasnt one flower on any of the tables! Why did we pay for it? Also, we brought in 200 wedding favors to be placed at every table. My wife (then my fiance) took the favors to Jimmy and explained how they were to be set out, since his staff would take care of them. Not only did Jimmy and his staff did the favors incorrect, but they only put out 100 favors! Also, when the guest were arriving, the Banquet hall wasnt even ready! It was 2 hours before the wedding and nothing was done. Some of the early guest (my mother, my mother and law and my mothers friend) had to help set up some of the tables! THIS IS WHAT WE PAID FOR!?!?!?! After the reception and everything else, my wife and I assessed everything and talked to people, we realized no flowers were set out, and the favors were missing and many guest didn't get any favors. I met with Jimmy on Nov 6th at 3:30 to find out the whereabouts of the flowers and the favors. Jimmy first tells me that the company that does the flowers for him, closed down 3 months ago. But we were NEVER informed of this. How were we supposed to know??? And the day when we were attempting to make the final payment, we asked him what the flowers would be on all the tables and he told us, "Carnations. Every table will have carnations". So if the company supposedly closed down 3 months ago, why did he tell us on oct 6th that the tables would have Carnations??? He then proceeds to tell me, "maybe someone from your family took the flowers from the kitchen downstairs." WHAT???? What are you insinuating? Your story is a complete contradiction! He refuses to refund us on the flowers that we paid for, that he never supplied. We asked him what happened to the favors and he says, "I dont know." I asked him, "are they just gone?" and he says, "Yeah, I guess. Why are you accusing me? Why would i need your favors?" Excuse me??? He then says that my mother and my mother in law took the favors, becuase they were on the table with the cake. Our pictures clearly show that the cake was by itself, our mothers never took the favors, and why would they only put out 100, when the instructions were to put out all of them? If the favors were on the table, why were they not on the guest tables like they were supposed to be. Our experience with Regency was ridiculous. But it really is bothersome that we fullfilled our end of the agreement of what we pay for and we did, and Jimmy couldnt keep up with his end, and REFUSES to repay us for the flowers and replay us for him and his staff losing our wedding favors that we paid for for our guest. Worst Service Ever. Crook.

I've been to two events at this venue and found it to be a dirty dump. It needs a thorough scrub down, and after seeing the bathrooms, I wouldn't dare eat the food because I'm sure the kitchen wasn't any cleaner.

We recently attended a wedding here and were very disappointed in the service. Half of the guests were not served dinner (including the bridal party) and when the bar opened after dinner, the bartender attempted to charge people for their drinks! This was NOT a cash bar wedding. Everything from the cake provided by them being delivered late to the servers just standing around looking confused made for a very disorganized event. The poor newlyweds had to go to McDonalds after their reception to get something to eat! Totally uncalled for.
