I have been going to this group of doctors since i was little when my mom took me. So naturally, when i was older i kept going. As time went on i kept having problems with getting perscriptions. They would say that they sent them over to the pharmacy, and the pharmacy would never get them. Some times it would take about a week to get a refil. I went recently to see the doctor about my feeling of having the flu. The doctor didnt even address that fact, she just scolded me about my asthma. She completely ignored my problem. She told me about all these medicines i should be on for asthma, and how i should have been taking them all along. Later on, about a week or so later, i called the doctor to get refills on some perscriptions, for nebulizer solution and and an albuterol inhailor. When I went to the pharmacy i found that they sent in something completely different, an asmanex inhailor and some generic claratin. Both of which the doctor said i should have, but i couldnt afford one, and already bought the other. I called the doctors office again, just asking for the albuterol inhailor. When I got to the pharmacy all they had for me was nebulizer solution. Once again, something that I did not ask for. Finally, I personally went to the office to speak with them in person. They sent in the refil that i needed, and gave me a free asmanex inhailor, which was the one that i couldn't afford earlier. I get home and use the asmanex inhailor and it doesn't seem to be working. I read the label and it says: No Medication inside. Not for inhalation or treatment use. Demonstration use only. So in short they don't seem to have any clue as to what they are doing. These are 'trained professionals'. What if it was a life and death situation, and that was all i had to help me. So if you do read this, pleas consider going to other doctors, and not to this one. They are rude, and don't pay attention to important details.

Dr. Settecase is a wonderful man. Busy, but nice and thorough. Dr. Canonie is skilled but super rude. He chewed me out one time b/c I was 10 mins. late due to my son's teacher not having his work ready to go. Of ALL the times I wait to get in and he has the nerve to yell at me????? The office staff is super- they couldn't be nicer, especially for the amount of work they have. Lori, the physician assistant, is nice, but comes off as a know-it-all to me. She once lectured me about potty-training when my son was barely 1 1/2. Plus, she knew that I have another child who was trained by 2. She just tends to give advice that isn't asked for... The only drawback is that Dr. Settecase is in on Tuesday and Thursday and you can't see him at his Olympia Fields office on the other days.

The staff is friendly but there has certainly been a big turnover since the drs. have changed in the last year or so. There are 2 primary care physicians here and one is superb, but the other is definitely lacking in his bedside manner. Still knowledgeable and helpful, though. Kudos to the office staff for trudging through all the changes... :-)

I used to go here all the time. They keep changing doctors and no one seems to want to work there. They bill me incorrectly and then won't change the codes, so I end up almost in collections before I give in and pay - even though they need to re-bill insurance and they refuse to. Last time the doctor perscribed me something that was on my do not perscribe list. When I said this, he told me to take half. Why... so it takes twice as long to kill me. I will never walk in that building again.
