On July 13, 2009 we placed an order for a granite top for our bathroom. On Aug 7th the order was ready but because of an illness my contractor picked up. When they brought this to my house we noticed that the girl who took the order had ordered the flat side that goes to the wall on the wrong side. I called, they said to return it and they woul reorder it. The new order was ready on Sept 3, 2009, again my contractor went to pick it up and they checked to make sure the sides were correct this time. They came by my house to install it and again I was ill, after they finished I checked and this time they ordered the wrong color! I called and spoke to whoever they switched me to, his name was Johnny and he said how come they did not check the color! I told him this was ridiculous, they did the courtesy to pick it up, did I need to tell them to go and match the color with the granite they have in stock??? he said he would call me back, he never did even out of a courtesy for a customer that spent a lot of money in the last year alone. Today I went in, met with him and asked why he did not call me, he said there was nothing he could do because it is installed!! I told him he is a bad manager! Let me wait all this time and then said there was nothing he could do. The numbers on the orders the first and the second don't even match, how can they miss such a simple thing!!! I caution anyone who spends a lot of money at the Home Depot in Orland Park to double and triple check everything they order! To my opinion they are not trained to follow up special orders or something else. They need to be checked like babies in Kindergarden.
All this delay caused me a problem with my contractor and now I have to wait that they do one thing at a time.

I replace all of my doors in my house this is something that i had not done before the staff in the millwork dept did a world class job helping me. Less and Gail went above their job responsibility's to help me If it was not for them i would have bought the wrong size and type of doors. I just wanted to thank them for all of their help.

My husband and I purchased a new Hotpoint refrigerator from Home Depot. It was in perfect condition when it was delivered and has worked faithfully since the day we purchased it. We've had absolutely no problems with the refrigerator. In fact, the deliverers helped to get it installed for us, which wasn't their responsibility. Highly recommend for your appliance needs. Definitely worth every penny and it was certainly affordable.
