Petvets Animal Hospital

We have two cats and two dogs who have been patients @ Pet Vets since they arrived at our house. We have been clients for over a decade and love the place. However, we tried several other vets fist and were very unhappy but now we're at home and plan on staying. Try them, you will love them.

I am very pleased with the Doctors at Pet Vets - there staff leaves a bit to be desired. I worry that the staff may be incompetent. I know the women at the front desk are rude and treat people like second class citizens. I dont want to take the chance that my animal will be treated like the humans are treated,I have since found a new Vet in Westchester.

I have been going to Pet Vets for eight years. The doctors and staff are wonderful, truly caring about your pet. They give great care without trying to bankrupt you. Even though I now live in Edgewater, I still make the drive all the way to Oak Park because I know the level of care my dog always receives. My dog has had skin cancer several times. They took great care of her being very thorough in their explanations of the causes and treatment options. Even though my dog has seen all the different doctors in the office, each one always knows exactly what's going on with her care. They all are genuinely concerned and happy to see my dog even though they probably see hundreds in a week. The office is clean and run very efficiently. I generally do not have any problems getting an appointment which is usually on a Saturday due to the distance and my work schedule. I would highly recommend Pet Vets to anyone looking for quality affordable care for their pet.
