The rice flies everywhere during cooking. The Firewall that cook makes was so hot that almost blown my eyebrows. Plates were dirty. The waitress DOES NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. She was mean to my wife when she was asking her to take her id out of the wallet. AND FINALLY, wait for it, SHE WAS TRYING TO PULL OUT THE CHECK FROM OUR HANDS, WHILE WE DIDN'T FINISH YET. MEAN !!!. NEVER EVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN!!!! URRRRRH!

Tsukasa is my favorite lunchtime treat. They're famous for their fried rice, which is rich with their homemade teriyaki sauce. They offer lunch combos at fairly reasonable prices, and there's always enough food to have leftovers, which are good if you can reheat them in a pan. Love the teriyaki chicken/tenderloin combo. It comes with either soup or salad (salad has a delicious ginger dressing), 4 shrimps as an appetizer, a plate of fried rice and your choice of meats. They offer steamed rice as well, and have vegetarian options as well as a large selection of sushi. I always sit in the hibachi grill section, and I've seen the sushi bar toward the front of the restaurant. They've done so well over the years they expanded to a larger locale, and they're still hopping at lunch and dinner. Wish they were open for lunch on the weekend!

Tsukasa of Tokyo is Japanese restaurant that offers a wide variety of sushi, they also offer a cook at your table option. I have been there many times, but mainly for lunch as I work near the restaurant. There are many options on the lunch menu, popular choices are steak, chicken and sea food. I usually order chicken, terriaki style and golden shrimp, which has a custard type topping that is to die for. The lunch includes a choice of soup or salad and a huge helping of fried rice. The lunch price ranges from $8-15.00 depending on what you order. It is a little pricey but you get a large quantity of food and entertainment for the cost. I have been there for dinner in which you get a slightly larger helping as well as soup and salad and grilled vegetables. Dinner are much more expensive around $20 - 40.00. It is not unusual to find celebrities in the restaurant at dinner time. It is a favorite to many Chicago Bears! I would recommend the restaurant especially if you are looking for something different. It is worth the price to have a really good meal and fun entertainment.

This is one of my favorite resturants to go to with friends. It is not a quick dinner, it is a whole experience; you end up staying there for hours. The chefs cook right in front of you and make your dinner an interactive show. They toss broccoli into your mouth and make trains out of sizzling onions. The fried rice is excellent and is completely worth the two dollars. You sit at a table with 6 or 7 other people, so if you do not come in that big of a group, you can meet some interesting people.
Cons-
They are not open for lunch on the weekends.
Dinner costs atleast 25 dollars.
It's hard to eat there with food allergies.
They charge you 7 dollars if you decide to share a meal.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE JAPANESE RESTAURANT. THE BEST FRIED RICE IS THE SPECIALITY AND THEIR COMBO DINNERS ARE THE GREATEST. IT IS MY ALL TIME NO ONE PLACE TO GO FOR JAPANESE. THE STAFF THERE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND EXPLAINS WHAT THE DISHES ARE IF YOU HAVE NOT EVER TRIED THEM. IF YOU ARE UNSATISFIED AT ONE OF THE CHOICES THE RECOMMEND, THEN THE MEAL IS FREE. THEY ALSO HAVE A SUSHI BAR WHICH MAY APPEAL TO SOME PEOPLE.
