This place is a great neighborhood spot, especially if you are a Red Sox fan. They ALWAYS have the Sox game on and plenty of transplanted New Englanders inside cheering at the screens. Food is good, but kind of limited selection. The bartenders get to know you and your drink quickly after you've been there a few times (beer is a safe bet-- they don't do margaritas and often are out of sour mix). Can be a little crowded and smoky on the weekends.

Pros: Play Red Sox games

Nic & Dino's has a great vibe. Very "neighborhoody." Only criticism is that the food can take a long time to get out of the kitchen, but when it comes, it's always worth it.

Pros: Great food, cheap

Cons: Slow food

I go to this bar weekly, and it's a great community bar! The owner and bartender know us and are always friendly. The food is awesome! Not super-cheap, but normal for bar food ($6-$7 for an entree). The wings are good, and the sloppy joes are GREAT! There's an outdoor patio in the summer which is nice too, with a TV outside for watching sports. Just a great place to hang out!

Pros: great food, neighborhood bar, outdoor seating area

Cons: sometimes slow food service

Good conversation, laughs, best wings hot or bbq,all sports packages, cold beers, bartenders actual by you a drink or two, is the norm at this place. Great food especially Sunday meatballs & lobsters. Bags out in the patio. Clean place and if you are there and no one else is there, do not sit out in the patio by yourself. Sit at the bar and BS with the bartender, Al Capone.

I went to the Crapoli tavern for lunch and a few drinks and the patio out back was disgusting. They didn't take the time to clean of the tables or chairs and the food wasn't very good. To top it all off, I paid with a credit card and gave the girl that was working a generous tip because she was the only one there. After checking my account, I noticed that she charged an amount that was more than I wrote on the receipt. The service, the people and environment are filthy and I would highly recommend staying away from this dive.

We came from out of Town for a Cubs Game. Would have been happy to stay the entire time in the Bar. Nick & Dino were both in the Bar on this partucular Sat. Night. Great jukebox (DropKick Murphy's & Flogging Molly). Wish they had rooms upstairs to rent.

In Short
Beat-up wood tables, a weathered bar and bare parchment walls give this low-lit hangout a comfortable, broken-in feel. Six TVs broadcast sports, and a Golden Tee machine sees plenty of action. Neighborhood regulars stop…
