Steak 'N Shake

This is a fine resturant. It's not the cleanest, but it's very tolerable. The service is okay. The food is great. Great hang out spot for teenagers....

We just went to the newly rebuilt Steak N Shake on Wabash. The building is nice, not too different from the old decor though. The food was good and the service was EXTREMELY quick, especially for a packed Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was friendly too. Overall it was a great experience, and we'll definitely go back.

Be careful when you walk in and go to sit in any Steak n Shake in Springfield, IL. The floors are greasy and slippery and there is most usually food on the chairs. Be careful of the napkin holders they are filthy too !! This Steak n Shake on Wabash is filthy as is the one on the west side. The owners are known for having FILTHY restaraunts.

PROS: Good food if you like greasy.
CONS: Filthy.
