After a taking a short break to change locations, Chicago?s highly-acclaimed Gaylord India Restaurant has now re-opened! Since our inception in 1976, Gaylord India Restaurant has been consistently rated among the Top Ten Indian Restaurants worldwide and continues to receive acclaim as one of the best Indian restaurants in America. A ?Zagat?Restaurant of Excellence, visitors enjoy a warm and romantic setting for a truly Indian dining experience. The restaurant has seating for up to 250 people, including a private dining room for business or banquets those seats up to 100 guests. The best of traditional Indian dining is complemented with our new India Asian Fusion dishes to add real international flavor and innovation for those who love fine dining. I've tried many so far and nothing really comes close to this. Prices are up there but still reasonable. Whenver I'm in Chicago I make it a point to come here. It looks fantastic, very classy with great attention to detail, like wallnut panels, matching booths . I was with a large party and we sampled a wide variety of menu items. Everyone loved everything, including the drinks and desserts.....great presentation. If you go, you MUST have a Orange kulfi for dessert! Highly recommended!!! Posted 01/06/09
