Its ok.... I actually prefer the YMCA better but im locked in for over a year with Ballys. They do have a TON of equipment even on the busy days I can get on everything I need to get on. They really do not maintain it garbage everywere overall not very clean. I also do not like that they teach karate upstairs so even though its for adults 18+ their are small kids running around everywere on machines and the track so that gets annoying when its supposed to be an adult gym (my whole purpose for switching from the Y) The staff are not friendly or helpful in anyway they are super nice when you sign up but after that your lucky if they even say hello when you come in the door. Also like the previous post they have huge windows so you can see outside but of course all you see is steak and shake, taco bell, and mcdonalds doesnt help much when you are trying to lose weight lol Overall its ok for the money I pay $59 for two people which is not bad. But if you are looking for a really nice gym with helpful people this is not the place.

Bally's is a nice place to work out. They have all the equipment and facilities that you would expect a place of this size to have. I like looking out the huge windows to the traffic on AT Road while I'm working out. I just wish this place wasn't next to Steak 'n' Shake. It's hard to pass up a milkshake after a tough workout!!

Editorial from

The Scene
Most Ballys stick to the basics for their design. Televisions broadcast silently above multiple rows of cardio machines; mirrored walls act as the primary decorative components. But thanks to high-energy television ads…
