Gotta love the pasta!!
by michellelamb
We have lived in the lakeview area for years. During the summer, we discovered Sopranos while walking our dog. They are very dog friendly on their patio. We have certainly enjoyed the pasta entrees since the weather has finally been a little colder. The best part is how their staff not only knows us by name, but actively engages in fun conversation. I sometimes dine at Sopranos solo because I feel that comfortable. I wish they had more locations throughout the city, but then I guess they would be like every other chain restaurant. Worth a visit...and once you become a regular and have a favorite server...you will certainly be hooked. Enjoy!!
Pros: Martini List, Live Music, Portions, Pricing
Cons: Music a little loud at times

Still strong after 9 years....
by barkli
This has been our local favorite for years. The amazing thing about this restaurant is how welcome they make you feel. This restaurant truly values their loyal, neighborhood crowd. Their recent menu changes certainly made us happy...we have been waiting for the veal parmegiana! It seems their wine list is becoming better and better every year. Weekends are busy...make reservations. Enjoy!

Worst service I've EVER had
by katsey07
I will never go back to Soprano's again. The food was okay and the setting was so-so, but the service was terrible. When the bill was paid, the waiter actually came back to us and asked why he received the tip we gave him. Not only were we taken aback by his boldness, we were completely turned off by the way he stood around until we gave him more money.

Hidden Gem
by piaceridellavita
My husband and I are frequent customers of Sopranos. We love the food, but more importantly, their service is top notch. We never feel rushed and they are happy to whip up something special for us even on a Saturday night. This is definitely our local favorite.

Great HOMEMADE Italian Food
by acktrader
My wife and I really enjoy spending a Saturday evening dining on great homemade Italian food and listening to Ratpack tunes. I am very critical with Italian restaurants but this food is great.
Pros: Live music Saturday

My Neighborhood Hangout
by chicagochic99
I love walking over to Sopranos for dinner or drinks. Whether it is a Tuesday night with my roomate or Saturday night with friends I always have an enjoyable time. The specials are always a nice addition to the delicious regular menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants an enjoyable meal at a great place!
Pros: Good Priced, GREAT MARTINI LIST

Major Disappointment
by mitchje
Somebody outta get whacked for this one. What a disappointment. Meagre list of vastly overpriced wines, cookie-cutter decor, food only marginally better than Olive Garden (who, by the way, have a better and more rationally priced wine list). Throw into the mix wholly indifferent service, seating that reminds you of a Pizza Hut, high noise levels and harsh lighting and you will begin to understand my numerical ratings for this "joint."
Pros: Abundant portions, Good bread, Easy to locate
Cons: Overpriced, Lousy wine list, Unpleasant atmosphere

Service? What service?
by anj_1975
Had reservations and it still took a good 45 min to be seated. After that we forgot what our waitress looked like. You better go hydrated because forget about getting a drink anytime soon. The food was pretty good and the singers we very good as well.
Pros: trendy, good bread
Cons: horrible serivce

Better than Bouca......
by fasteddie
Sopranos follows the ambience of the Bouca de Peppo old school Italian restaurant. I thought the food was really tastey but the music was kind loud when I went there.
Pros: Good food, reasonable prices
Cons: Too loud, not very cozy
