Meijer

Meijer's is a good store but it doesn't even come close to a Wal-mart Supercenter. That is why there are 3 Wal-mart's and only 1 Meijer's. The good thing about Meijer's is that they outlasted the Super K-mart that used to be in Champaign.

Meijer has everything-everything a super-market should have. Walmart does not have lower prices on all products than Meijer. And when they do, it's worth paying a few-yes, few cents more for better produce(food all around)which Meijer provides. And usually, more choices. As for service, theres been both poor and great at both(or any)store(s).

PROS: Location is a plus to many.Anything else, meijer is tops...
CONS: Same as pros. You can't please all.

Meijer is worth the extra couple of pennies you'll pay compared to a visit at Wal-Mart. The produce is always fresh and in good shape. There is a better meat selection as well as bakery. I think that everything Meijer offers in comparison to Wal-Mart is of higher quality.

Meijer has a lot of selections. It was the number one supermarket before Walmart build up two super centers here. Walmart first built up a super center in Savoy (south of Champaign) while Mejier is located at north of Champaign. Now Walmart build up another super center right across Meijer so I believe it is a big threat to Meijer. I hope Meijer can beat up Walmart though. Walmart has too many bad names and I haven't heard one about Meijer.

Meijer is on of my favorite retailers. They have a great grocery department with an excelent deli, bakery and alcohol selection. There clothing department is great for everyone and every size. Toys, housewares, personal care and electronics is also well supplied. Just about every Saturday they have a super Saturday sale and you can get different items at excellent prices although they tend to run out of sale items quickly. I also love the coupons that print out sometimes when you check out. Some service you receive is horrible and at other times it is execellent.

The number one thing that I like about Meijer is the low prices. It is a great deal. The store layout is easy to learn and follow, which is also a plus. I also enjoy large offerings in the meat department.

Another favorite enjoyed by my children are the free kiddie rides located by the check out lanes. No need to put in change, just hit the start button.

I am a frequent Meijer shopper. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes I've had excellent service and other times I've had poor service.

They do have the self check out lanes for smaller orders which comes in handy for those times when you don't want to wait in a long line.

Meijer is one of the largest food shopping store around. It provides everything in one stop from all kinds of food,clothing,toys,furniture,gardening, and even pets. On the go..they even have a sit and eat food court with reasonable prices. For your convience , they even have self check -outs ,,so if your in a rush or on the go...just scan and pay. Has the freshest fruits and vegetables daily...so go enjoy for yourself.
