El Cid 2

There is nothing remarkable about El Cid 2's culinary offerings, but for a good meal at a decent price, this is a great place to go with friends. Duck into the backyard where you will find a large patio perfect for lingering over margaritas on a summer night, and your meal will likely be accompanied by live flamenco guitar. In the winter, venture upstairs for expanded cozy dinner seating area complete with bar.

Um, yeah, there's nothing "ay, chihuahua" about El Cid, but on a warm spring day, with terrace seating, the good-not-great mexican food will hit the spot and rub it lovingly as you overlook the Square. This restaurant is no more than satisfactory, but somehow the three stars looked lonely up there, and I had to throw in another one. I've never been disappointed, and even though that may be because I've never come with high expectations, it must be mentioned. If you find yourself outside the Logan Theater after watching the latest installment of the "Fast and the Furious" films, and you need to get you some flautas or carne al pastor or whatever, just say "El Siiiii...d." Get it? Si, you get it.
