Hema's Kitchen is a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant off of Devon, and it's the perfect place to stop in for a casual meal. The prices can't be beat for the traditional fare you might pay more for at a larger restaurant down the street with fancy tablecloths. Instead, at Hema's you have plastic tablecloths, and you get a huge added bonus of the restaurant being BYOB. Their menu is large enough and offers several vegetarian options. Stop in for an inexpensive traditional Indian meal.

Original Hema's Kitchen in Devon area is a very good place to refresh your palate with authentic flavors. That is if you forget the noisey restaurant with sometimes slow service, and Hema's grand kids riding around their tricycles. Still the food makes it worth it all. The servers usually mess up your orders. So make sure your server understands what you ordered. Also a good idea to check on your server to make sure your food is coming. This place can be really unorganised but the food is just like how you will get at home.
PROS: Authentic Indian food
CONS: Slow service
