I live in the neighborhood. They have the BEST CHOCOLATE DONUTS I have ever tasted. Actually, I've never had a bad piece of pastry there - everything is excellent. But, man, those chocolate donuts are to die for. Hint: Go early, they sell out fast.

I recently visited this location on a Saturday afternoon. They were quite busy and seemed to almost be out of everything--which is hopefully a sign that they are good. I was greeted pleasantly upon entering. For what was left there still seemed to be a nice selection of baked goods. There were the usual donuts, cookies, and danishes, with a few not so usual things thrown in--my new personal favorite is a french silk whipped cream covered concoction in a waffle cone type of bowl --it was exquisite--wasn't too sweet and definitely filling. Prices were average to good. This is a family owned business and they have another location in Algonquin. You can't really go wrong on sweets--I would definitely go back.
