I have purchased many items from the Sears Outlet stores and have not had any problems with any of them and the sales staff were extremely helpful.

I did my homework prior to shopping so there were no suprises when I got there.

The peace of mind I get knowing I can call a local Sears Appliance repair if any future repairs are necessary also helped with my decesion knowing they have access to all parts needed.

Hey I bought several appliances from sears outlet up in McHenry. Be very careful they tell you the appliaces are reconditioned but they still have problems. My fridge, stove washer/dryer all had issues. After several repair trips finally fixed all the problems but it was a big hassle and thanks to sears selling products without parts I had to replace my floor due to all the water the washer leaked when I first turned it on. When the repair guy arrived he was shocked to see several parts not even installed like someone used this machine for parts or something. You get what you pay for. BUYER BEWARE

Be very careful when shopping here. The discount on the items is off regular list price, which is not the same as the selling price in sears stores. I was shopping for a dishwasher and a stove. We ended up finding the dishwasher for $200 less at a regular sears store and the stove had a broken door and was still more expensive than the same item at Best Buy. it's so easy to check prices online, which I recommend you do before you buy anything here.

As the other reviewers said, this is where you want to shop if you have options for your appliances and you are not too particular about them being in perfect condition...they still work the same way. Most of the time, the scratches or dings can be covered up if they are on the sides and the items are placed in between cabinets or walls...definitely a place to go to compare before paying full price!

If you like shopping at Sears, then you will love the Sears Outlet store. It has all the same things you can get at the regular store, but these items are cheaper because they are slightly irregular. They have appliances with small scratches that are barely noticeable, and they give you hundreds of dollars off! I love it.

I highly recommend this store if you dont want to spend too much money and will purchase slightly imperfect appliances. I purchased my refrigerator and stove from this store and both had a very tiny scratch on the side of them close to the bottom of each appliance. When these were put in my kitchen you cannot see the mark on the fridge and the bench next to it hides it. The mark on the stove was so small I put a tiny dot of white out (the stove is white) to disguise it. You cannot even see it now. The prices on these types of appliances is around half of their retail value, which is great.

PROS: VERY CHEAP
CONS: SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS OR SCRATCHES
