THE worst customer service experience ever. They have a very cute custom snowflake necklace that is different each year. I received one as a gift and wanted to get one for a relative. I was told they don't ship anything as they can't be running to the post office every other minute. Really...could you charge me and others $10 shipping and handling on this "very popular item" and rubn to the post office once or twice a week? What is missing here is a total lack of the customer service gene.

If I could give it less I would. They have very dishonest business policies my mom bought a 200.00 plus purse within 30the days she tried to return it but was told she couldn't because the tags had been removed to which my mom responded that the sales associate had removed them when she bought the purse, she was told that it's not store policy to remove the tags.....when I bought my purse this past wed I got it home and surprise surprise the tags HAD been removed. I will never shop there again nor will my mom crazy thing is every purse and hand bag she has in her closet has come from crimson ridge. Terrible customer service and dishonest business practice we work hard for our money and will spend it somewhere else. I will never recommend crimson ridge to another person either.

I have never met anyone who owns a business that is more rude than Kip. I will never enter this store again. He caters to individuals who look the part of money, and will treat every else like they are not worthy to be in his store. He needs refresher courses in how to treat customers ! He is loud and obnoxious! The way I was treated in the store, just for looking through sale items was totally uncalled for. I would like to boycott this store! I forgot to add that the store has nice things, but there are other places to shop, where you don't have to put up with this mans condescending ATTITUDE!!!!

I have been involved in the retail business for 46 years. I would like to comment briefly on the reviews of customer service for this store and others. Every establishment has the right to set it's own return and other store policies. How these policies are enforced, or adjusted to the particular situation constitutes much of customer service. Contrary to the old saying----The customer is NOT always right. Many people will make unreasonable requests or demands of people in the retail or services industries. To be fair, I believe that there are some questionable comments made on this site in that regard that may go either way. I would like to see every person, when they begin their working career, to be required to stand behind a sales counter, wait tables or be a receptionist anywhere. Generally the person helping you is trying to do their best.

My real intention here is to make you aware of disturbing and what I consider unethical practices by this retailer. There are NUMEROUS instances when the buyer for this store either alone or with sometimes 2 or more employees in tow, will "check out" the competition. Now, competition is obviously part of and is what keeps a good retailer on their toes. However, "shopping" another retailer, picking up any unique item to check the price and or attempting to determine the source , is the behavior of Crimson Ridge buyers that has been exhibited since before this store opened and continues to this day.

This behavior is not limited to an actual visit to a store. There is another very recent example of this.. A retailer just down the road has a new, unusual item in their store and has been successfully selling it for the entire Fall/Holiday season. There was a recent morning T.V. remote done at this store and the item was included as part of the merchandise shown available. SURPRISE when less than a week later this item was advertised on the Crimson Ridge outdoor sign. It has been subsequently featured prominently in print ads also, just weeks left in the Holiday Shopping season.

Buying for a retail store can be both exciting and exhausting. It involves a lot of hard work, time and expense. I am sure there are items at Crimson Ridge found this way. Unfortunately there are others that are not. Truck load type sales and overbuying leading to drastic reductions in price may seem appealing to the consumer, but they do come at other costs. That unique item you found is no longer unique and you may never see it again at either store.

If you don't have confidence in your own buying knowledge how are you able to respect either the merchandise you sell or your customer?

The Retail Gift Shows are coming up very quickly. Whether in Chicago or Atlanta, buyers will be shopping to fill their stores for you, the consumer. Many of them will sadly, have to keep looking over their shoulder.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ALL OF ROCKFORD. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We experienced similarly HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and particularly with the holiday season approaching, I highly encourage everyone to THINK TWICE about purchasing anything from this store. My mother has been a regular shopper at this store since it opened, my father shops there all the time for my mother's gifts, and when I am home visiting my parents, I have purchased many items at the store. Most recently, my mother purchased a Longchamps bag for me in September and sent it to me for my birthday out of state. I preferred a bag with longer handles and mailed the gift back to her.

She recently sought an exchange--the second purse actually would have cost her additional money--but because the initial purchase was more than 30 days ago, they refused. She DID have the receipt, she explained that this was something that she didn't have access to return (I had it out of state) -- it was even in the same Crimson Ridge gift wrap. Nonetheless, the store clerks (and owner, who they called) were unwilling to give her a credit and make the exchange.

I am floored by this outrageous lack of customer service. The store would have actually made more money by allowing her to make this exchange! I hope everyone will BOYCOTT THIS STORE. If you are looking for holiday presents--particularly expensive purses that someone might want to exchange for another style or color, look online. There is nothing in that store that can't be purchased online--and if you're looking for the "personal touch" of an in-store purchase, you will not find it there.

Like MV, we will be taking our business elsewhere. I hope that with enough negative reviews, the owner will listen to his customers (especially faithful customers!) and realize the true "cost" of not allowing someone to make a simple exchange. This is not about small print on receipts, it is about simple principles of customer service. Shame on you, Crimson Ridge.

I have never had anything but excellent service anytime I have ever been in that store. I have been there for both flowers downstairs and gifts upstairs several times. The customer service is always great and everyone is friendly. My flowers last much longer than flowers from anywhere else. They gift wrap everything beautifully! Even the gift cards! I have had many different people help me there and have never had a complaint. I have had Kip help me a few times and he has never been anything but talkative, friendly and helpful. I even had my 2 year old daughter in there with me one day, who decided to pitch a tantrum...I was never looked down on or treated rudely. I am actually planning on stopping there today for my mother in laws 60th birthday present. I love crimson ridge and will continue to go there for a very long time.

I have been back in the Rockford area about two years and was delighted to find Crimson Ridge. Everything I have ever purchased there has been wonderful, fairly priced and the staff have been a pleasure to do business with. I have had wedding flowers from CR as well as a gorgeous Mother's Day bouquet recently. The flowers are long-lasting, fresh and artfully arranged.

Anyone who thinks this store is crowded and high priced has not lived or visited many other metropolitan areas for shopping. It is well-organized and displayed. High class in every regard.

The negative reviews do not at all add up with my experience there. Each and every one has been helpful and respectful to me. If you feel sub-par or out of place, don't blame the staff there. It might be you and your own attitude. Whether I have been spending $5 for flowers, or much more for Christmas gifts, I have been treated well and have always felt like a special customer. I do not know anyone who works there, but kudos to all of you.

We are fortunate to have such a top-notch store here in Rockford.

I really like Crimson Ridge. They have unique gifts and most of the prices are fair. The gift wrap is the very best feature; I am always proud to give a gift, no matter how small, when it is wrapped by Crimson Ridge. I always start there for shopping at Christmas and Admin. Professional's Day. I will say that some of the staff members are "snooty." One woman in particular, who is there most of the time, has made me feel very small (even though I am a regular customer). The owner, Kip, has ALWAYS been very nice to me. I am shocked to read some of these comments. He always asks me questions about how my day is going, my job, the people I'm shopping for . . . .I can't believe some of the comments I'm reading. I once had them make a small error on my Admin Day Delivery (the forgot to deliver the lotion; they delivered only the flowers). When I called to complain, they apologized profusely, delivered the lotion and gave me a credit. I wouldn't have expected them to do more. Once again, I think they do a great job. If anything, they need to do a better job training a couple of the snooty female sales people. Kip, however, is a gem.

I frequent Crimson Ridge at least twice a year to update my Brighton watch and bracelet collection. I admit I've had mixed interactions with Kip, but I simply wrote that off as his "norm". Since I went straight to the Brighton area, it has never posed any serious problem. I like the place, just think it's over-stocked in most places, especially downstairs. It feels a little claustrophobic, so I avoid it and use other florists. Brighton, I love!!

I grew up in Rockford and I've shopped at CR since they first opened their doors. It is an excellent place. Yes, it can get incredibly busy ... but they always wrap your gifts wonderfully and they've always been pleasant. The fact that it's swamped every year on the holidays is testament to their great service, day in and day out. The "bad" reviews below are likely the work of a competitor out to disparage Kip's good name. He's there every day - until late - and makes sure that customers are treated right. Has he ever had an upset customer? For sure, but the stories below are poorly written and seem more like SPAM than reality. Go to CR and shop til you drop! And say hi to Kip ... CR rules!

I recently found this store in past year, have purchased many things and brought friends and family to show them this neat store! Until last week 11-20-10, I purchased a necklace and needed to return it or exchange it-due to receiving the same piece of jewelry from a friend, so wanted to get refund/exchange. Took it back on 11-24-10 only 4 days later and was told need original price tag sticker that was on the piece of jewelry-i was hesitant-I don't live close-30 miles away-the clerk told me dont worry you have 30 days-i said ok i will be back next week--so on 11-30-10-now only 10 days later from my original date of purchase-i try to take back again along with little price tag and original receipt etc and per a Kim and manager Kip unable to return due to price sticker is removed, need original packaging-Brighton jewelry cloth bag-in which i kept i also purchased 3 other brighton charms-would do nothing for me-tag must still be on jewelry-would not exchange-give store credit etc-refund would do nothing-i called store on 12-1-10 and spoke to Kip in which he tells me he will do nothing-it's store policy and Brighton jewelry policy-no such policies posted or given not even verbally-nothing on receipt except only have 30 days-i asked so no type of customer satisfaction?-nope! -per Kip-- Wow, i have never been treated so poorly by a business or anyone i have made purchases with! So i will make sure to spread the poor customer service and as soon as you walk out of the store too bad for you! i will report this to Q98.5 whom advertises for them-report them to Brighton jewelry, better business bureau and all my friends and family-unfortunately i will NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

This is a horrible horrible place of business. Last year around this time my boyfriend bought me a gift from this place. I ended up not liking it and went back with the receipt. The owner -Kip refused to let me return it, saying that he thought I had done something to the item. I called my lawyer because it was within 30 days, and the receipt said I would be able to return it within that period. Kip called me back a day or two later and apologized saying his lawyer advised him that he could lose his business if he didn't allow for the return of the item. I was enraged. Kip has terrible, absolutely horrendous business ethics. I would not suggest his shop to anyone.

UNBELIEVABLE! I will never shop at Crimson Ridge again. Kip (the owner) was beyond rude when I asked about a wine rack. I was treated as though I was subhuman and not deserving of respect. I was also attempting to purchase some items inbetween the aisles in the back by the candy section when he came by looking at me and
said things I won't repeat here but essentially made me out as a shoplifter!! UNBELIEVABLE! I ended up walking out the door not making any purchases at all. In this economy you would think a store would be happy to have someone buying $200 worth the merchandise!!I guess from reading the above reviews it all depends what type of a mood the owner Kip is in. He must be Bi-polar because at times he is up and happy giving things away--and other times like when I shopped there he was an a*****e. Stay away from this overpriced-over stuffed- store that in this day of customer appreciation- they miss out on totally! Go to Annie's for the same merchandise at a better price!!!

I had been away from Rockford for sometime and moved back to the area with my wife. I made a visit to Crimson Ridge to purchase an anniversary gift. When I had picked out my merchandise I went to the counter to check-out. Kip greeted me and we began to talk about what the occasion was. I told him how I had moved back and that I had always enjoyed his store. Kip was apparently flattered by my kind words and loyalty after being away for years. I say this because he would not let me pay for the merchandise and had flowers delivered to the restaurant we were dining at that evening at no charge.

The story above happened a few years ago and I should have written this then. However, better late then never and I wanted Kip to know that I have shopped there loyaly ever since and am picking up flowers tonight for another anniversary!

Having been to Crimson Ridge many times before, I had not had a terrible warm reception but nothing as rude or negative as some of the reviews mention. I had not been to the store in at least 2 years when on June 26th I went inside looking for a picture frame, with my motorcycle helmet in hand. Kip the owner was behind the counter and suggested I leave my helmet at the counter, I quickly obliged. When I came back with the frame to pay for it, Kip offered me a beer but I declined since I was riding, I did take advantage of the water bottle though. He offered many a client a beer, it was in the high 80's outside. I found the merchandise to be priced fairly, the personel was well informed and Kip was graceous to the patrons. Yes I recomend shopping there and maybe you will get a free beer included.

He offered many a client a beer, it was in the high 80's outside. I found the merchandise to be priced fairly, the personel was well informed and Kip was graceous to the patrons. Yes I recomend shopping there and maybe you will get a free beer included.

I am very disappointed in the service I received at Crimson Ridge. I ordered flowers to be delivered at a hospital. The hospital denied the flowers and crimson ridge called in order to obtain the receivers home address. I gave them their home address. I called the receiver later that night 7pm and they didn't receive the flowers yet and I didn't get another call from Crimson Ridge. I called Crimson Ridge and a man told me they called the homeowner they didn't answer their phone and we tried to deliver three times. I know the homeowner was at home the whole day and they would have heard someone come to the door. They insisted they were right and I was wrong for several minutes. Finally I asked, they are home now will they be delivered tonight. Their reply no but we can refund your money. I was suprised with this response. I thought Crimson Ridge would try alternatives such as we are sorry for the inconvenience we will send them out first thing in the morning but no all I got was we will refund your money. I went ahead and had them refund my money. About 5 minutes later they called me back!!! It was the same man I spoke to before he wanted to send me proof (i.e phone bill and delivery receipt) to prove I was wrong and they weren't at home! I couldn't believe this. I have never known a business to prove a customer wrong. Even if I might have been wrong this is NOT good customer service. I will NEVER do business with Crimson Ridge again. This is a shame as I am a young adult and they could have had me as a long time customer. In the end I went to Broadway Florist. They did a GREAT job and they were a lot cheaper. I will continue my business with Broadway from now on. It's too bad they didn't strive for good customer service.

Crimson Ridge is a great place to shop. Many different items that are unique. I have never felt the salespeople look down on me or are rude. I love to get my gifts wrapped and they really do look good. However, there is one thing that has me bugged about Crimson Ridge lately and that is their horrible tasteless radio ads. They started around Christmastime and now for Valentine's Day they have another one going. They talk about guys getting a gift for their gal so they can get "something" in return and we all know what that is. They talk about gals having their "two lips" (tulips) around the guy's "organ." There's more but I won't repeat the rest of the ad since it's gross. Really tasteless! The ads really should stop. They are bringing Crimson Ridge down. They are not funny and are downright nasty.

I cant believe some of these reviews! I have shopped at Crimson Ridge many times over the years. I have ALWAYS been treated w/respect from the staff. I can always depend on finding a unique gift or flowers here. I live out of town and have purchased flowers several times on special occasions and holidays. I have them delivered to my wife's office and they have always been very well done and very unique. In fact I logged on today to get the phone number to buy flowers for V day and saw reviews that in no way reflected my experience over the years. So much so I signed up to "set the record straight".

I have been associated with crimson ridge for nearly 10 years. I worked there full time for several years before moving away. It can be a harsh place to work, espically during any holidays (considering that Crimson Ridge is the bets place to shop everyone shops there) Look at all that you get, Great merchandise, free gift wrap and great selection !!! Kip is very high strung and can come off as being rude at times. But i have also seen him take coats to a local elementary school and donate them all to a first grade class with a pizza party, just out of the goodness of his heart. i have watched Kip also bend over backwards to make so many customers happy. He cant please everyone, after all he is only human like the rest of us. The staff, i can say that all the people that work downstairs are the most heart warming, caring , wonderfull people. Chad, Jennifer, Lisa, Linda, Sandy and Roger are very help full and they treat their customers with respect. I personally never wanted to work upstairs, there are a handfull of people that i felt looked down their noses at people as if to say that " I am better than you " but then again there are wonderfull employees like Christy and Sarah and Carrie who are kind and caring. You will find rude people in any work place. I loved shopping at Crimson Ridge (my house was a Crimson Ridge Museum ) and i will continue to shop there every time i visit Illinois. Kip is a big hearted soul. I think that if everyone who ever experienced a bad time while being at Crimson Ridge would just take a second out of their busy day and just look around and see that everyone is not perfect. Kip does his best to insure that Crimson Ridge is always top notch and that would be enough to stress any normal person completely out. He is a demanding boss but at the same time he is a good man that loves to joke around and sometimes it may seem that he is picking on people (teachers) he only does it to get a giggle, loosen up people, he is not hurting anyone. I think that if you take a bad experience to extremes then you need to stop shopping because you will find bad experiences everywhere you go, are you going to just stay in a shell and not venture out? Thats silly.

Along with most of the other reviews, I agree the staff is very RUDE! As a gift, my husband took me there to purchase a charm for my bracelet. There were 3 sales assoc. (1 male and 2 female) in the charm area all talking to one another and the only cusomers were my husband and me. I stood at the display thinking one of the staff would come and assist me, but no such luck. I then walked over and asked if I could get some help at one of the displays and they just looked at each other. They made me feel very uncomfortable and I had decided then that I would not shop there again. There are too many other places to shop in the area for them to be so rude. I would even drive to Chicago before going back there.

I have to say that I agree with all of the bad reviews; when I was looking for lillies for my fall wedding, my maid of honor & I stopped into Crimson Ridge to price their selection (I was willing to pay over $800 in fresh flowers alone)...whoever the salesperson was told me very rudely "I don't know what kind of little event you girls are planning, but lillies are not in season in November". I was very disappointed in the treatment I received. I left on the spot & will never return.

If you want to be treated like dog poo on the bottom of a shoe, then trot on in to Crimson Ridge! You will have plenty to think about when you leave. The few visits that I have made have been horrible.I purchased a sale item on my second trip-a bracelet-and I was basically rushed out as if I was second class for buying from the sales table. The staff is either terribly rude or haunting you like hyenas or both. The owner is an A+ A**H**** and he acts that way wherever he goes in Rockford-not just at work.I won't be the first to say that I have seen his baby tantrums in action. Stand up for yourself and take your dollars over to Pepper Creek or Annies at Edgebrook. You will never be disappointed with flowers from Enders either. Remember,a little kindness goes a long way!!

I was raised in very successful family business. It was successful because we gave the customer what they asked for. Yesterday I ordered flowers for my 15 year old daughter. I asked for a 50.00 GERBER daisy arrangement. I wanted ALL the "fun" bright colors of the gerbs I saw in there cooler. When it arrived at my door it contained 4 pink gerber daisies, some pink mini carnations, and a few mini pink roses. I called and complained and they said they would come and get it and bring me an assortment of bright gerbs and some greens to fill. This time they brought an arrangement that had 3 yellow gerbs a few mini carnations, roses iris, and lillies. I don't know why it is so hard to understand what a GERBER DAISY arrangement is. Crimson Ridge gives you what they want to give you not what you ask for. I wouldn't be surprised if it was pre-made and they just pulled it out of the cooler. I WILL NOT continue to shop at Crimson Ridge, and from reading the other reviews I wouldn't be surprised if this business doesn't last. You can not continue to treat customers (and employees) like this and expect to survive. In this day and age a business should be going the extra mile to make the customer happy, or there will be no customers.

For the past year I have gone in to CR at least a half dozen times inquiring about ordering a ring from one of their vendors. I had my name taken and was supposed to receive a call when the items for sale came in. The merchandise got lost. Then it finally came in and no call. Then I asked to order a specific piece and was given a hard time. Not sure they could (or wanted) to order it. My name and phone # were taken yet again and I have heard nothing since. How totally frustrating? I give up.

the store is excellent for buying gifts and I usually always go there but I believe there is just to much clutter. If some of the things were moved out and concentration was put more on the articles it would sell better. I think 90% of the staff is fantastic. Kip has always been pleasant to me and he doesn't know me from Adam. He is just a hyper type of person

Boycott Crimson Ridge! There are plenty of great stores in the Rockford area that treat their customers and employees with respect and dignity. Teachers stand up for human rights...do not shop at Crimson Ridge!

"Teachers are the stupedest people I have ever met," (not a typo)said owner of Crimson Ridge, Kip, while ranting on about how he hates to wrap gift items area teachers come into his establishment to purchase on a frequent basis. This is just a beginning to some serious issues I had the displeasure to observe (and be subjected to) in Crimson Ridge before I walked out on my part time job there.
Kip runs around the store stalking customers and cracks the whip on his sales staff to the point they do not take their Illinois mandated breaks and lunches. The majority of the sales staff, who are very sweet and kind people, advised me that he was an ogre of sorts and that they just try to ignore him the best they can. If you find that the sales staff seems unhappy, there is great reason why. And the reason why you see them trying to eat their lunches behind the counters between sales.
Another of his tirades involved an elderly women wanting a box for a piece of Waterford Crystal she purchased as a gift for someone. Kip had snotted to her that it was his rule that no boxes are given on sales items. The woman called back later and spoke with a member of sales staff and they indeed found a box for her. The next day when I came in, the box was smashed. One of the lead sales reps informed me that Kip had punched it in a fit of rage and screamed at the person who obtained the box. I was so embarrassed when she came back in to get this box, knowing what he had done to it just to be nasty and bully people. That was yet another red flag that there is something terribly wrong with this owner.
Next, I observed Kip wrapping a present for a customer.. He held the ribbon up to her rear end and said he was going to make a bow for her and needed to "use" her "ass as a guide." He then dished out ribbon twice the size of her rear end and said, "this is going to be a really big bow.
Finally, there was an incident with the bakery, Upper Crust, last Sunday. This exquisite bakery opened up a counter at Crimson Ridge (they thankfully do special orders so you can avoid the Ridge if you wish) and were treated horrifically. Kip frequently changes the times Crimson Ridge closes and the owner of Upper Crust was not back yet when he decided to close. Long story short, the sweet gal who was working the counter was left to figure out what to do with all the baked goods and to load them all by herself. I tried to assist her, but Kip flew into the back waving his arms around and sniping that I had to get out of there because of payroll costs. I offered to clock out and help her on my own time, but he raged on that he had to get the alarms on. I felt just terrible to leave her there..especially alone with that caustic man.
In the short time I worked there, I cannot tell you how many ex employees complained about Kip, how many of my current colleagues have shared horror stories about him, how many customers expressed to me that he was obnoxious, and how many people I personally observed his rudeness to (both employees and customers.)

Hay Tom K maybe you better take the blinders off. Read most of the post they say the same things. Rude Rude Rude and to think even the owner. I purchased here years ago and don't make a habit ever again. I am only going in because I won a bracelet from the rrstar. but after reading some post I am thinking is this thing going to fall apart, like when I purchased charms for my bracelet years ago and the paint came off I was told by owner sorry there never was any paint on that. Oh OK you must have been wearing it all the time not me.Judy E

Crimson Ridge has always been one of my favorite stores . i have had very nice sales associates that was until i met Kip the owner. For being the top ranked florist in Rockford IL you would think the owner would have been a little bit more friendly. it wasn't like we were going to duplicate any of his work anyways. DO not go to Crimson Ridge and if you do be prepared to deal with the a**hole Kip!!

I was a huge fan of Crimson Ridge. Despite if being a full MSRP store, the selection and service made it a perfect place for gift purchases. I am from the suburbs of Chicago and still enjoyed the shopping experience. That was until I attempted to make my first exchange. I bought a costume jewelry bracelet for ~$25. The second time I wore it the clasp came off. While returns to Rockford are not convenient, (I am from the Chicago suburbs), I have family there and thought I would wait for my next visit. I went in the store and I was told that they preferred to repair the bracelet. I then got a call that the bracelet was fixed, but that I would have to pay $5.00 for the repair! I went in the store and spoke to a delightful woman. She said she understood why I thought this was outrageous, but that she had to call Kip (the owner) for approval. (Kip may want to consider empowering his more senior employees for big $5 decisions..) Kips answer was- "sorry you are unhappy, but that is my decision." Amazing that a successful business could be so "penny wise and pound foolish". I have spent thousands of dollars in Crimson Ridge and now will find a new "favorite gift shop"

We live out of town & drove in for the occasion. My Mother-In-Law shops here often so we bought her a special birthday gift. We purchased a difficult item to wrap & the friendly sales associate, I wish I would have gotten his name, put his talents into it & she was so excited at first site. Thankfully the wrap was transparent because she didn't want to unwrap it just yet. Thanks for making her day special.

I called to ask for assistance in putting together a gift basket of chocolates and other treats which I wanted delivered to my husband for our 3 yr. anniversary. The person in the chocolate department was rude and rushed me through the process. It appears morale is bad at this store. This exciting time for me ended in tears!

I have been in there all times of the day, all days of the week, and all times of the year, and I never seen a rude associate, and the morale is always top notch!!! I have been shopping at Crimson Ridge for a least 4 years now, I can always find something my wife will love!!! I have been in there all times of the day, all days of the week, and all times of the year, and I never seen a rude associate, and the morale is always top notch!!! I work in retail........and this establishment is first class, and always has exceptional service!!!!! I would love to have the caliber of associates and management working for me!

I just recently purchased chocolates from Crimson Ridge for a birthday present. They have a large selection of yummy chocolates. The lady who waited on me did a fantastic job of wrapping them. I did not have much time to look around on that day, but they have jewelry, and purses, and a flower shop down stairs.

I purchased a pair of earrings from "Hot Diamonds" and the lady behind the counter was very preoccupied and wasn't going to even put my purchase into a bag until I asked her too. I thought she would be the only one that was rude until I ventured into the rest of the store. It seems that overall morale at Crimson Ridge is bad. Hmmm
There was a friendly woman at the front counter but other than her....everyone seemed to be having a bad day.

PROS: merchandise can be fun to look at
CONS: perhaps a reflection of unfriendly management?

This is more than just a store- it is an experience. From high end to affordable - you find it all here. It is my favorite place to shop! From the ordinary to the extraordinary you will be pleased. I love their coffee; gift baskets; and the staff does a wonderful job of suggesting and preparing wonderful gift baskets. If you live in Chicago or Madison, it is worth the drive!!

PROS: Great Selection and Friendly Staff
CONS: I leave with no available credit on my Visa!

This unique store offers a good selection of gifts. In particular, they have an extensive collection of soaps, lotions, and bath products. They also have a large selection of fine jewelry. They have an outstanding selection of floral arrangements. They also gift wrap for free.

PROS: free gift wrapping; outstanding sales (up to 75% off); floral sales
CONS: regularly priced merchandise can be high

This is Rockford's other high-class florist/gift shop. They have a good floral selection and that is about 20% of the store. The rest consists of charm bracelets, handbags, candles, gift baskets, and body lotions. This is always a good place to start when I need to buy gifts for my wife.

This place has everything! Its kind of hard to walk thru and can be overwhelming, but if you're looking for a hard to find gift, this is the spot. They also just opened a home interiors store that is fantastic. They have really expensive stuff, but also VERY reasonable and UNIQUE items as well. Great place for a wedding gift!

When I need to find a gift for someone, this is one of my stops. They have two floors of unique finds. From Brighton Handbags to Socks. They offer all sorts of bath and body products and chocolates. They even have the hard to find Robeez shoes for babies, very reasonably priced. My only complaints are that the fresh flowers dont last as long as they should, and the staff can come across downright rude. If you can get past that, buy a gift and get free gift wrapping.

PROS: Large selection of items
CONS: Staff can be rude

Its a good store for gift ideas, although it is a little overpriced. However, they do an excellent job wrapping, they make it look really special. They also have a good selection of flowers that are hard to find elsewhere.
